Great hardware store with a good inventory and helpful staff, conveniently located in the North Valley. However, I'm NOT impressed with the saw repair shop. Took 2 saws in, asked to have them checked out and made ready to go before I headed to the mountains. Feel kinda bad leaving a poor review because the guy squeezed the job in, but he didn't do a good job at it in the end. He replaced the spark plug on one, but I don't think he did anything else. The saw was difficult to start, and would die almost instantly at idle. Did a poor job of tuning it, if he even tuned it at all. I had to borrow a buddy's saw to finish the job. Was un-knowledgeable about the repairs needed on the second saw, and recommended a much more expensive repair (replacement of entire saw main housing) than was necessary. I elected to fix it myself using the factory repair parts (Stihl oversize bar stud) made for the well known issue of stripped bar stud threads in the MS250 plastic case. It cost me $8 and 3 minutes of my time. I'm capable of working on the saw myself, but was attempting to carve some time out of my busy schedule by having a local shop get them ready to go. Spent $120 between the two saws and still had to borrow a buddies saw after struggling through a few trees with my freshly "serviced" saw. Not much of a time saver. All together, I'll definitely happily continue to purchase from the hardware store, but unfortunately I will have my saw work done elsewhere.

Talk about uncomfortable, if you stop in this store, be prepared to be followed around the store or watched from every eyeball in there. I guess they have allot of thieves, but I ain't one of them. If

Really bad experience and really bad customer service, please treat customer right and you may succeed, need to have better customer service, if you don’t like to work move on to other trade, or don’t work at all , retire is a good option.

This place carries so much more then I've seen in other stores the staff is very friendly and willing to help you out in anything they can. Moved here in 2010 and had never been inside now this is my go to place
