Found on a lush 3,200-acre oasis in the southern New Mexico desert, the Stahmanns pecan orchard is made up of over 168,000 pecan trees producing a whopping 8 to 9 million pounds of pecans each year.
Nuts and Wines enjoy the Upper Valley.. The weekends are best and busier. Make a day of the trip of it. Drive up the valley to Las Cruces and come back on I-10. Drive I-10 to Las Cruces and come back thru the valley. Stop at all the local farmer's markets and nursheys. Support Local!!!

Love the view of the trees when driving to Las Cruces NM, but people should not park on the side of the road to take pictures. Dangerous!!

Fun little gift shop to buy local pecans from. They had a variety of products to choose from. This was the 2nd time we have come here to buy gifts.
