If you want to be extremely hot and have over 30 Mosquito bites, this is the place to go. If you are a venue, you should treat the area with profesional Mosquito services. I have over 30 Mosquito bites. Mosquitos are a disease carrying insect. My niece (1 year old) has 8 bites on her face. Almost all of the guests where attacked by Mosquitos! I even bought off! The Mosquito load at the property is insane.They literally provide a unsatisfactory venue for guests to enjoy a wedding!This is truly unacceptable!!!

Wonderful venue in Farmington, New Mexico . Absolutely gorgeous views of the river valley and the mesas . Several locations to do weddings, including a lake dock.

We drove 1100 miles just for Susan (the owner) to completely ruined my wedding! She micromanaged EVERYTHING! She had issues with everything we did or said. Literally moments moments before I was about to get married she came out to me complaining about one of my family members but then tried to turn it around saying “don’t stress it’s your wedding day” but CONTINUED to make negative remarks. During my ceremony her and her husband sat on her back porch smoking cigarettes. While there are signs everywhere around the venue saying no smoking, they continue to walk around smoking there cigarettes like it was nothing. When an issue arose, instead of coming to me, or somebody in the wedding party she verbally attacked my photographer. When I was finally made aware of the situation, she started verbally attacking me and called the police was false accusations. My wedding was cut short by 3 hours. The venue is BEAUTIFUL but could be so much more if it was ran by somebody who actually cared about others. I definitely DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE!

Went for my best friends wedding, at first glance the place isn’t bad but once you actually get there it’s all downhill from there. For starters, when you pay a premium price you expect to have a little freedom, especially with a mostly outdoor venue, instead we were bombarded with new rules that were not discussed prior to paying for the event. The dressing room for the ladies was too small and when we decided to switch she decided to throw a hissy fit. Once everyone was dressed she decided to lock all of the women’s stuff inside the building and wait until it was convenient for her to unlock it and then just so happened to mention that we could not store their clothing or personal items in the dressing room. She constantly monitored everything we did on her golf cart and did not allow any of the more elderly guests to ride over to the pond where the ceremony is held which is quite a walk. When confronted with any issues she was uncaring and it felt like she just wanted us to leave the entire time. For someone who is literally in the hospitality business, it doesn’t seem like she even knows the meaning of the word.On top of that, the pier over the pond is where the ceremony is conducted is rickety and seems unstable and the pond is smelly and nearly stagnant. The reception hall (barn) is way smaller than it looks and the bathroom situation is embarrassing with only one available to the wedding guests that aren’t in the wedding party along with a porta potty. The grounds are mostly gravel so unless you’re wearing boots be prepared for your heels to be torn to shreds. Lastly, everything was dirty when we arrived but she wanted everyone to clean up before we left. For the exorbitant amount of money charged, I feel like cleaning up before we get there and after we left should have been included. I hope this changes your mind on booking this venue. Do not get your wedding ruined by Karen and her dirty farm.

Horrible customer service. Rude to our family. Facilities were full of bugs and webs. Air wasn’t working so the cakes melted and had to have frosting scraped off. Susan’s only response was “**** happens”. Micromanaging everything and locked doors with our items in them not allowing us in until it was convenient for them. She even at one point was heard telling her husband, “let’s just get this over with.” We had to clean and then made to leave way early. There was an unfortunate issue that she handled horribly. Horrible people. After we were forced to throw things in boxes to vacate she started grabbing OUR DECORATIONS and locked them up. If I could I’d leave a 0. People—pay attention to the reviews. The higher ratings only mentions the beautiful property. Low ratings give you the full picture of this horrible family-run business.

The worst experience in my whole life, they ruined the wedding of my step daughter, the owner doesn’t know how to treat people. I think ???? that she is racist, if you’re white like her it’s ok, but if you’re Hispanic orNative American you’re in trouble, even if you paid for the service, you need to clean before you leave the venue, if you want a nightmare go and hire her. She even stole our own decorations. She got mad because we switched the bride’s party to the men’s room to get ready.

Owner micromanaged the entire wedding, locked our things out of the dressing rooms, talked to the bride about issues she had with people in the wedding part when she should’ve just been focused on getting married, and she watched our every move. She was constantly moving around the grounds on her golf cart watching everyone. For the price that was paid I find it ridiculous that she still throws her two cents in on literally everything, and kept adding in more and more restrictions after everything was agreed upon, it’s not your wedding b*tch, sit back, shut up and let people have some fun on what is supposed to be the happiest day of their lives.

Worst experience ever, my son and daughter in law got married here not only was the owner difficult to work with, she was down everyone's backs about everything, we switched the bride and grooms quarters bc of spacing and then she gave the ladies 15 minutes to remove all of there things, when a prank was done moving a rooster she became very nasty shut down the reception and called the police. If you like challenges this is the place to go

I have never been to a venue that the people that run it was so rude calling people crude names the venue is very beautiful itself but for the money that was put out on this place that gave them business you would think they would be grateful for getting there business they would have some kind of compassion YALL RUINED MY NEPHEW AND HIS WIFES BIG DAY YOU CALLED THE COPS AND THERE WEDDING DAY CAME TO AN END I THINK YOU SHOULD REFUND SOME OF THERE MONEY FOR THEM NOT GETTING FOR WHAT THEY PAID TO ANYONE LOOKING FOR A PLACE AND YOUR READING THESE REVIEWS I DO NOT RECOMMEND ANYONE TO USE THEM FOR ANY OCCASION CONGRATULATIONS VENUE WHAT A HUGE DISAPPOINTMENT DEFINITELY NOT A 5 Star RATING I PUT A ONE ONLY BECAUSE I HAD TO DO SO I CAN GIVE A RATING

Was a good venue but I do not recommend it as of right now. Like any good family get together, my brother traveled 3hrs to come celebrate my daughter’s graduation but when we were 10mins over our time Suzanne comes in and made a scene after I apologized about losing track of time, she was rude practically chased us out it was embarrassing and unprofessional, I know it’s her establishment but my family was impressed with the venue actually planning their wedding ceremony there but after she showed them how she runs her establishment they are reconsidering their options. What an embarrassing memorial graduation reception for the amount of monetary transaction we paid, least Suzanne could’ve opted was offer another 30mins to an hour for another transaction so we could’ve let my daughter have an unbelievable memorable reception, she ought to be ashamed of her temper and actions, she lost at least 3 wedding reception from my family.

First, I'll start by sayin that this venue is BEAUTIFUL. It has a very rustic feel and the barn, dining area and nearby pond are so so pretty. That being said, the owner was very difficult to work with. She was quite friendly to us when we initially went to tour the venue for our wedding reception but from there, it went downhill. She was unwilling to let us move chairs, would not let my DJ set up early so he could make it to the wedding (he is a family friend), and was very upset that we brought our own portable air conditioners Regarding the air conditioning, please be aware SHE DOES NOT ALLOW THE AIR TO BE ON IN THE DINING AREA WHEN THE DOORS ARE OPEN. We had no idea of this until a week before our wedding - we had a June wedding and it was almost unbearably hot so that definitely should have been something she disclosed to us PRIOR to us putting down our deposit.To summarize: beautiful venue, very difficult owner
