Online says the store closes at 8pm. Drove up at 7:30pm and she turned off the neon open sign and just looked at me. I guess she decided to close early or the website needs to update the hours.

Don't shop here. The cashiers charge me for something I didn't buy . Recently I counted my change and I notice they overcharged me and gave me less change. The male cashier (with the attitude) wouldn't give me a receipt cashier. He told me he can't give a receipt because he already ran the transaction. make sure you double check your change and make sure they don't over charge. The cashier charged me for an extra scratch off I did not want to buy. I wonder how many times they overcharge customer throughout the day and pocket the money. I had to give a one star.

The lady that runs this place is rude. They don't sell any of the old fashion candy like they used to, $6 for a 4pk of batteries, heck no. Everything is so over priced for the area. DO NOT STOP HERE! Every other store around is better than this place.

Got gas here Friday the 29th of June 2019 could not find a place to camp in forest. Had to get some more gas to go back up mountain, after putting half a tank. Truck would not even start still sitting at pump. Got it to run babied it home found out more then 70% of it was WATER. Messed up hole weekend. $40.00 of watered down gas. Will never go back. And 250.00 mechanics to get it back on road.

Right on your way to Jemez Springs. Across the road from local market location.

A nice gas station in a beautiful location! This three story gas station only has the first floor accessible. But it's nice! The building looks like a an Indian pueblo, not some run-of-the-mill convenience store! I suspect that the owners live above the place. It's one of the tallest gas stations I've ever been to. It's located along the main road into town, right next to the Jemez Pueblo Indian Reservation Welcome Center, by some red cliffs. The soil here is so red, it looks like rust or the surface of Mars. The restrooms are located outside, in a separate cinder block building. They were clean. They have local events here, like selling BBQ plates for a cause. It seems to be part of the community around here. Not only do they have gas here, but offer water and air for the tires. Just watch your speed through here.

I have been coming to this gas station and convenience store since I was a little boy. Once a year we go camping in the Jemez mountains and once a year we stop through this gas station. Every time we've come through they always have everything that we need. Gallon of milk got it, ibuprofen got it, Pepto Bismol got it. Plus it's the last stop for gas for 50 miles until you hit Los Alamos.

Travel Tip: This is the last spot most cell phones work before traveling further into Jemez. Warm food during peak hours, their pizza and their chicken fingers are pretty good! Also, local jerky and a great selection of soda. Postcards from local artists are available, and about $1-2 cheaper than when you head into Jemez Springs.

This place went down hill. They used to sell all sorts of cools things like NFL merch and unique candy but not anymore. Lost a customer.
