Walgreens on Joe Harvey Boulevard has been good to me for the past year since moving to Hobbs. The pharmacy works quickly to get my & my children's prescriptions when we need them. I have probably had 80% positive or non-dramatic interactions compared to 20% negative or head-scratching moments with the pharmacy staff. This is one of the cheaper places for beer, wine & liquor. There is free, ample parking all around the lone-standing building - and it's a way nicer Walgreens than the other one in town. One of the older ladies who works the register was scanning my items not long ago and asked me if I knew which movie the song over the PA was from. The song I think was Robert & Johnny's "We Belong Together." I knew the song, but was befuddled as to the movie...She kept scanning & said it was this movie with this red car that was jealous. She talked to me like I knew her for years, but this was the first time I had ever seen her. "It had a girl's name." I smiled. "Christine?" I asked her. Her eyes lit up, "Yeah. That's it! Christine." It was a funny moment in time. If you've seen the movie, you might understand why we were laughing. Now when I see her she smiles bigger than all the times I'd seen her before. And I await the next movie/soundtrack quiz...

My 4 year old has a lung infection and I went and picked up his antibioticsAnd when I got home I was getting his medicine with a syringe and all that came out was powder!!! They didn’t mix the medicine or get it ready ? I had to go back so they could make it and someOf the powder came out so it wasn’t all in the bottle and I told the pharmacist and he said it was fine and he just used that same bottle and just made it… and like 2/3ml or the powder was gone since it was in the syringeHe didn’t even apologize for his mistake . Or anything ? I brought him the syringe so he could see and he bagged the used syringe so I could keep? He was rude

They never have medications in stock. Save yourself time and go somewhere else.

I usually don't have an issue with the pharmacy except for the extremely long waiting times in both the drive thru and the walk-in pick up line. I have been trying for a week now to have them fulfill my prescription. It's an rx that is difficult to get and they told me that they're out of stock and unable to retrieve it. I continued with contacting other pharmacies for the medication and found one that ordered it. It's an OTC medication so I called Walgreens to ask for the rx to be emailed or printed out for me so I wouldn't have to wait in their, most times, hour + wait line. The supposed pharmacy manager, Kena, refused to print it out and told me I'd have to wait in their long, waiting line to get it printed and said she would surely write void on it. She also informed me that they were able to order the medication, even though they had told me they wouldn't be able to, for $400. I told her no, another pharmacy is charging me $18. What a rip off and definitely will use a different pharmacy from now on.
