A Huge shoutout to Ms Alisae and Liz for the amazing A+ experience at their store today. While they spent about two hours dealing with rude and horrible lowe’s credit card service (synchrony). We wouldn’t be able to buy our items if it wasn’t for them. Because they totally go beyond and extra to help the customers! Thank you again :) If there is something you need help with while at Lowe’s just ask for these two amazing girls!

It has variety and pretty good options for home appliances and accessories. It has good payment plans, we have bought many appliances there.

Hired them to install my floors in my house. They did not provide all the materials for the contractors that they hired contractors couldn’t speak a word of English then when they didn’t have the materials, they tried to put me off for another week after waiting a month for them to come do the job and then when I let them know what was going on and complained they told me I broke the contract by buying the stuff that they needed to complete the job very rude on the sales department after talking to them. Even though they gave me a PO number and everything for the materials that the contractors needed. They still charge me for the extra materials and then said that it was my fault because I bought the materials they asked for. Lowes tried to blame it on the contractor but couldn’t do that so they blamed it on me there customer

A lot has changed since my original review. Customer service has been wishy washy since I moved back to Hobbs a year ago after being away since 2012. And customer service has always been a roller coaster at the returns section, but lately it was terrible. On three occasions, they took a while to acknowledge me. Today (10/16/2023) I was met with some fairly nonchalant, unhelpful workers. Wasn't acknowledged. There were 4 of them standing there. Eventually one said they be with me shortly. Finally I get help. This girl was a bit distant. Told me I couldn't get store credit for something I bought long ago... okay, but I've returned stuff without receipts plenty of times & never got this amount of grief. I'll explain more on why this Lowe's is lacking, though... my personal policy is to not complain on Yelp unless I've already notified a manager. Done. So here is the s*** show... On Friday, October 13, 2023, an employee used a forklift to put a toilet in the back of my Jeep. A forklift! It took 2 employees to do this actually. One being a spotter. All I wanted was someone to help me lift the box into the back with me because the box was so bulky, but they went super stupid and used this contraption that made me as nervous as a needle to the eyeball with it because I seriously thought they were going to f*** up my Jeep with it. Back in July (2023) I was FINALLY told by an employee in doors/windows that the guy who was originally in control of my window order from February 2023 quit and the ball was dropped completely when one of my special order windows arrived broken. Why did they never call all those months?! Why did they keep telling me the opposite of what Lowe's Customer Service hotline kept telling me? That issue got resolved after several excruciating phone calls and me trying to find the right person to talk to. My window was eventually set up for installation in August 2023 when it could have been done in May. I paid for them in February! Back in March 2023 I had over $8,000 worth of flooring delivered to my house with a forklift. The Lowe's employee ended up busting the pallet by pushing it with the fork in an unstable area on the pallet... the boxes of premium flooring scattered across my garage floor. He started complaining about his employees "who should have wrapped it up better" then and I should have taken that as a red flag. He kept referring to me as babe and baby. Don't expect a lot of help from many of the younger faces who work here. The majority of them act like whiny toddlers when faced with a challenge then leave you high and dry. A group of them were horsing around and talking about non-work related stuff in the ceiling fan area... then asked if I needed help. No. Not with that lack of unprofessionalism. A returns employee claimed they couldn't give me store credit anymore for perfectly boxed, new items because the items the amount would be nearly $500. Then it was because it was on a MasterCard. Then it was because my receipt was too old. Would she have said the same thing if I said I paid it with cash and lost my receipt? No... Then the manager from the floor pursued to tell me that "they're really cracking down on that [30-day return policy] and their bottom line is hurting." It's 2023 - I think everyone's bottom line is hurting! I guess spending over $20,000 here so far this year isn't enough to keep me as a customer by giving me store credit for 6 boxes of unused flooring that they didn't get to me until 8 weeks after ordering. So disappointed in this store.

Lowes is a great place! I have been using Lowes for a very long time in various states, this Lowes in Hobbs N.M. is by far the worst experience I had with them & the contracting company (A2Z Professional Remodelers) and Lowes customer service (A young lady that would not allow me to discuss my issue with a manager). I paid over $10,000 to get some windows installed, the contracting company gave me a 2-day installation time and was done in approx 5 hrs, I took two days off work to go to Hobbs. Secondly, supposedly the blinds are not part of the contract, which is fine, I didn't see it in the contract, nor did I ask the installers to remove them which they did, the problem was, they removed them and did not re-install them and lied to Lowes and said I called and asked them to remove them. I had to run to pick up some other items from Lowes, when I returned, they were gone, blinds were left in the middle of each room floor, they left all paperwork taped to the windows and gave my renters a knife to remove the paper. I called the company with no answer, I left a VM and no one ever returned my call. 2 windows were broken on arrival whih they relayed to Lowes, it has been about 2 weeks now to get them re-ordered (not installed) because the contractor need to provide measurements Again for the same windows. Very disappointing! So I was never able to talk with management so I thought I would just voice my concern here and share my experience with others.

Replacing my lawn mower. Assistant manager took me to them. Discussed them then went and got a cart to help me check out and load in my daughters jeep. So nice to be in a store that has leaders like this gentlemen.

I think Lowes is a wonderful store but we went by a week ago and I was looking for a particular shruband there were four boys and one girl they had no idea what it was. I had called earlier and the people that were there said yes they had this certain shrub the thing is that these people go home and when their shift is done there is nobody there that knows anything about flowers I was very disappointed I hope they still have the shrub when I go back.
