This is a pretty busy Walmart so it's kind of difficult to find parking. Came here for a curbside pickup and received my order promptly. Items that are out of stock in Arizona are usually available here.

A few supplies and I checked out the parking area to consider it for tonight's overnight. There was one other RV but it seemed a bit loud. Instead, I drove down the road to the Cracker Barrel. Inside the store, well stocked and tidy. The restrooms at the front were being cleaned and were closed off for at least 15 minutes. I don't know if that's a normal thing but at 7:00 pm, the store was quite busy. [Review 21060 overall - 108 in New Mexico - 23 of 2024.]

We came in for three things and they didn't have any of them so it was a fail. Lot of the isles were empty when we visited at 9pm. Living in California I have never seen the liquor department locked up. There was a nice employee watching me take a photo probably thinking what is that crazy women doing. I guess you can't buy alcohol in Gallup on Sundays. I don't drink alcohol so that was fine with me. Wish we had better luck here.

This is the dirtiest walmart in america hehe. And not because it's trashy. It's because it's in a indian reservation with dirt roads. There is a trail of dirt from the front door to the back of the store. Pretty cool ??

These Walmart butt holes have people standing in the snow around the building waiting to enter. I bet the dip shit who made this policy is not standing outside in the morning winter to buy supplies. Dummies

I would like to commend our WalMart during the Corona Virus. Our WalMart has never been the friendliest but I noticed during this time employees seem to be a lot nicer. I believe they have done a great job with number of people in the store masks and social distancing. The only thing I notice is even though they are closed at night. There is still so much restocking during the day throughout the whole store. We recently came back from the East coast where there was no masks or distancing in place. Keep up the good work with Covid19 mandatory orders.

I agree with everyone about how busy it is. It's crazy. Trust me. If you are in there to grab a few things you won't wait too long. I tried buying a tv this morning and they had no on to haul it out for me nor were they willing to give any other assistance the lady just shrugged her shoulders and told me to come back in the afternoon which I did. The electronics department was slammed so I proceeded to the checkout lane instead. I also agree if you want peace and quiet go there as early as possible. I went the other day at 630. I wasn't even sure if it was open. Btw I am new to the area.

Do not trust your vehicle with this place. Sloppy, lazy, incompetent employees in the auto center. So disappointing and a waste of my time. On vacation and I have to bring it to another Walmart Auto in another state to fix their mistake. Don't do it! Turn around!

This Walmart was so congested that we could barely move around in the store. The sign on the front of the building said, "Grand Reopening" so maybe everyone was there for that. I'm not sure. We struggled to grab a few things and then exit as quickly as possible. Outside near the edge of the parking lot were a couple of rough looking RV's. One of them was nearly broke in half from front to back. The other had cut off the back end to create a pickup truck bed at the back. We thought they may just be stopping for the night, but we drove by the area a few days later and they were still there. This Walmart must be super tolerent to let them stay that long.

Very large Walmart and to avoid the crowds, I stopped around 6:30 am. Several RV's camping in the lot so they are RV friendly. Lots or remote camera and portable security cameras around the parking lot! Not used to that, but I suppose those overnighting in their RV feel pretty safe. Staff was busy stocking shelves. I think this is something that should be done at 3 am (24 hour Walmart) rather than this time of the morning. I had to step over boxes and things in the isles but in all fairness, one employee did apologize. I did ask for assistance and the person I spoke with was partially helpful. They did not have what I was looking for so off to Home Depot I went, where I successfully scored the items I was looking for.

Oh lord. We stopped by this WalMart on our road trip through town. I've never seen a WalMart this busy. I needed a drink by the time I got to the cashier.

Avoid this place during daylight hours and weekends. It's very busy. Not one department answers phones within 5 minutes and often told to hold. This is one of the worst Wal-Marts I've ever encountered. The auto center is not good, just tires, basic service, and unprofessional manners. We tried to get some standard maintenance service for a Mercury SUV. They didn't have the recommended size tire and tried to sell us a non-recommended tire size. The front desk service was slow and not the most knowledgeable. Perhaps tires and oil changes are ok. It's a super center, super busy, and super low on customer service. It serves a huge area, sits next to the Navajo and Zuni reservations, is much bigger than the one in Grants, NM, and runs low on stock due to its remoteness and high volume of customers. Many people from rural communities will come from miles away to visit this location near the first day of the month and weekends to stock up on food, supplies and entertainment. Due to items being picked over so much, I couldn't find a good reasonably priced toolset, found tool sets with missing parts, couldn't find the latest Blu-Ray DVDs, saw a limited selection of men's clothes, and couldn't find knowledgable or helpful assistance with items. The returns area was insanely busy. Fresh organic produce wasn't very fresh. It's just wasn't up to regular Walmart standards. Be careful of panhandlers in the parking lot and secure visible items in your car. Because it's so busy and security doesn't patrol the parking lot, it is more likely to have crime in the parking lot. The location is good and near some franchised eateries like Carl's Jr., Applebee's, and Cracker Barrel. You can try this Walmart but be sure to take a Xanax, be prepared for the crowd, and don't expect a quick visit during the evening.

The cashier had bagged my eggs separately and forgot to mention it to me after I had paid. Well I drove home only to discover that my dozen eggs were missing. When I came back the next day to claim my item, it was a nice suprise to find thst they had logged the incident. Within 5mins, I was in and out and done with my business with no fuss. You get the point this time Wallmart.

Most unprofessional Wal-Mart I've experienced. For instance, I ordered pictures online, paid for it online, and had the pick-up person (my niece), pick them up, and I identified her name online, and they wouldn't release the photos I took of her and her brother for their mothers Christmas gift. I'm in another city 2 hours away, so I tried resolving the situation over the phone, was hung up on twice to the mainline, I couldn't speak to a manager, was on hold for 25 minutes, and they will not release the photos I took of my niece and nephew for their mothers Christmas gift. Their verbal communication was abrupt, rude, and undermining. They made it clear that I was at their mercy, and this time they also made it very clear with the whole ordeal, that the customer is not right. Be weary of this locations un-professionalism and their unavailability to not work with their customers. Very unsatisfied with this store. Beware of being treated like your business doesn't matter at this location.
