Lots of choices for jewelry, pottery, blankets. Not sure if it was good prices. Nothing ro compare it with. It was 40 to 50% off. But could be a bait. Still bought some items to support the community.

This place has a good, wide selection of Native American arts and crafts without being way too overpriced. The same can be found at another Ortega shop attached to El Rancho Hotel, a little east from this location, but the prices here are less expensive. You may not find that many photos of this establishment on the internet, as the Native American proprietors do not like their picture taken. All in all, the selection of arts and crafts here is deep - from a wide variety and selection of kachina dolls to very well-made lamps. I will be going there again for Native American and New Mexican curios. How about you?

Wide variety of items from jewelry to pottery to blankets and rugs to purses. Was thrilled to find them open on a Sunday when everything in town was closed except one other store run by a very pushy salesman. The ladies in Ortegas were wonderful, friendly but not pushy and very patiently showed me lots of jewelry. I purchased several pieces plus a blanket and a piece of pottery which they shipped for me. It arrived safely and quickly. Shop is staffed by native Americans so you can be sure items are authentic. I had a lot of fun shopping here. They had a lot to choose from in all different price ranges.
