This place was an absolute joke. The staff is very rude. Dismissive. I suggest going to Airport Animal Hospital in Milan, NM.

The vet here was extremely helpful and kind to our cat. The staff generally treat owners with kindness and are very welcoming. Unfortunately, it's the only reliable place in town so they charge what they charge.

No reason a scheduled appointment should take 8+ hours
It's like they do it on purpose to make you have to pay for boarding over night
Just becuase they are the only vet doesn't mean they should have such shady tactics for people's animals
This has happened on more then 2 occasions
An emergency take more then a day
And a scheduled appointment also take a day
Drop off at 8am and still sitting in the parking lot at 5pm your joking
So how does that work exactly
Hold times are ATROCIOUS!!
Giving up to just take my boy home takes 40+ mins
AINT NO WAY!!!
You telling me it take you 40 mins to go into the back get my boy and bring him up front to give me a rescheduled appointment date on a day I guess I don't work to camp overnight to get a SIMPLE CHECKUP!!!

Office/customer service procedures are horrible. Wait times are ridiculous. I spent 16 mins on the phone with them trying to schedule an appointment.

Dr Emily Spulak has been a good vet for our rescue dog, Raku, who has pannus. Early morning appointments are a little less busy as this practice is very much in demand.

I felt uncharged by more requested appointments even after pet was cured of mange. But I understand the effort to maximize the sale. Pet was cured, and that's appreciated.

Our 3 dogs got their nail trimmed and one dog seen by vet. Overall our concerns were addressed and wait time reasonable.

DO NOT GO HERE IF YOU HAVE A SICK ANIMAL, I was met with poor service and sympathy for my cat. The lady at the front desk was very rude and didn't care that I had an urgent/ emergency visit for my cat. After paying the fee they had my cat's chart sitting on the desk for more that 10 minutes( mind you, that her chart had a red page paper saying urgent and was the only chart there. Before she was called to be taken in) She spent a whole 2 days and I spent 1,063.03 for blood work, fluids, and radiographs with no results or diagnosis for her pain. Unless, we pay an additional 1,000 or so more for the doctor to take more xrays and lab work then have an additional fee after to treat whatever is making her sick.
This place is the only Veterinarian Clinic in Gallup and i think thats why they are very expensive. They can charge whatever they want and have no sympathy for animals.
If you have an emergency, don't go here.
If you have a sick pet, don't go here.

Almost put my dog down due to incorrect diagnosis. Vet told me he had a tumor and needed to be put to sleep and no medications would work. Took my dog else where for care.
