Quick family weekend. Though the room was dated, it was clean and plenty of space.Breakfast was fine, but the food was outdone by the people keeping everything stocked. Will there ever be a day when adults can use an "inside voice" at these breakfast bars? Frank at least here, the children were better trained than their parents. The pool was freezing and as usual the staff said "ok we'll warm it up" after three days no change. The staff were the best reason to stay there.Tip well cheapskates!Jeff L-8 Google GuideRooms: Nice sized and other than dated fairly well appointed.

DEPOSIT SCAM!!!!!!!!!!!! I Noticed a lot of complaints about deposit scams from this hotel after recent management change.Checked out October 29th. During check in I was charged a $75 deposit. At checkout my room was inspected with no issues, I was told I would receive my deposit back in 3-4 days. After 10 days I physically went in to ask about my deposit. I was told by front desk employee that they messed up and didn’t release my deposit that they would release it now manually. I called my bank after 16 days and they still see no deposit ?!! I called back and spoke with La Quinta manager who said they messed up once again and just NOW released my deposit 17 days after my stay that it would be another 3-4 days. After 19 days and many calls and trips I FINALLY saw my deposit pending in my bank. Manager and owner won’t make things right. Do not leave a deposit at this place!!!!!!!!

I really hate to leave a bad review but after four stays ( business trips) I am out of giving second chances.Owner of La Quinta, please please please hire capable staff, give them proper compensation and support/training. Every time I have been there they have either cancelled my reservation, charged me more than my stay, or charged my personal card instead of the company card. There is always some issue with the computers, every time that is the excuse. The rooms are usually clean but this last time there was mold in the bathroom, and the sink would not drain (room 112). The house keeping staff have opened the door even when I am inside and tell them not to because my dog does not like strangers. The person running the breakfast bar was taking things away from me as I was using them, closing down the breakfast area early is understandable but removing things as people are using them….wow. The manager Ceci is very kind and helpful but I have to let my company and clients know to avoid this hotel until these issues are resolved. Mistakes happen but please offer your staff more training, compensation, or support to run a hospitality business properly. For those reading this that may be staying on vacation, it is not quite a safe area to stay.

We stayed here a few weeks ago. My family and I were exhausted to travel home so we got a room here just to sleep. Naturally I would check the beds no matter where we stay, so I did. It's a good thing I did. I found a bed bug under our mattress. I took a pic of it and showed the front desk staff. They told us it was not a bed bug and that it was a box bug. (You can look at the pic and tell me if that's a bed bug or not) Regardless, I AM NOT sleeping with that in my bed. So we requested for our refund. Got some back that night and got the rest back 3-4 days later.

This hotel was our 1st stop on our road trip from UT. La Quinta is usually a nice place to stay at.. well not this particular time! The room was absolutely filthy. The siding of the bed was badly stained. Looked like blood to me. The floor was dirty and gross. Our socks were black from walking on the floor. The bathroom was even worse. The bathtub/shower was dirty and I absolutely refused to give my son a bath. I will not be staying here again!!

Room 200 is the old managers quarters and I do not think it is legally habitable. I will be asking the Farmington NM housing/safety department to investigate. Here is what it was like when we stayed on 9/5/2023:-Burned out uncovered outlets/wire in the living room. Taped over (duct tape) outlets all over. Bathroom tub was filthy and clogged- took 1/2 hour to drain. Mold and dirt in all the caulk. Nothing on the walls- no pictures, mirrors/ Generally dirty all over- from the top of the very old fridge to the ceilings to the bulbs and fixtures. Broken blinds. Dog hair all over the pull out bed. The owners don't care- they have been old the manager and housekeepers say. I'll do my best to report them to corporate and the City to make them care.

Beds Need to be replaced and properly protected. Very comfy, though.Staff was awesome and has a great sense of humour. Enjoyed talking with them and the service they provided. The only really good part of the breakfast was the waffles, and there was a line up for them most of the breakfast. Keep the waffles, even get another maker. Just need more good stuff. Even the coffee sucked, sorry to say.Didn't have a chance to enjoy the pool, but the property is kept fairly clean except a couple piles of dog poop in random areas on the grass. The pool area is very clean and wanted to enjoy it, just was too busy. There were beetles next door. Apparently there have been problems with them, even though they don't bother people, except by just being present. They helped the lady with them right away and took care of them. The light bulb went out in the washroom in the afternoon, but was repaired by the time we returned to the hotel after dinner. Glad they are trying to be on top of things.Rooms: Beds Need to be replaced and properly protected. Great staff, friendly on phone and in person.I like the layout of the room we had... the table and two chairs was helpful. Obviously fresh paint and nice bedding. Beds were unremarkable.But... bathroom is gross. Not the fault of the cleaning staff... more like the grout around the toilet was filthy. Also the shower had standing water and kicked up old hair and dirt. There were some mystery chunks on the floor that appeared to be pills or something.Convenient location but kind of a seedy neighborhood.I would suggest avoiding this place. For ten or twenty extra bucks it's worth it to get something over by the Target.

The good, the bad and the ugly. The good: When first walking in, the room smelt clean and at first glance, many appliances looked provided. The pool was decent and they provide pool towels. The bad: Hardly any of the appliances worked. The mini fridge never got cold, the iron did not release water or steamed even after being filled (clogged?), I lost hope trying anything else. Music was blasting from a vehicle that was parked in front of our door until 3 in the morning. I called management at 11pm about the noise, it wasn’t handled so I was left to call the police. The ugly: The more you investigated the room, the more you discovered how bad the room was cleaned and maintained. See photos. After going to the office and attempting to express our concerns, employees behind the counter brushed off them off giving no eye contact. We were essentially told that from the rooms they stayed in, they were clean but the message would be passed off to management. Our contact info was never taken. We stayed another night in the town but booked else where.

My mom I were in room 106 last night . We're from Las Cruces NM. We came to Farmington to tame care of something. I gotta say their rooms are really nice. Staff is very professional. Thank you definitely hope to return soon.

After trying to communicate directly with corporate and getting zero response; I've decided to warn others of my stay.Service here is dismissal and rude. After a long drive and arriving at the property at 11pm I was met with a different pet policy than what was stated on the corporate website. After bringing this to the front desk (Joey) attendant he ignored my questions. When I asked for a receipt I noticed I was still over charged. Once I showed him what was said on the corporate website he said I could talk to management (Alex) in the morning. The next morning I was met with more hostility and zero customer service or regard to what was listed on their corporate site. Just pointed to the paper print out of their 'new' policy.Besides the disgruntled staff; the exterior of the property has not been cleaned up since a renovation that was done long ago. Broken toilets and trash all around. The inside of the rooms have been 'updated' but poorly. Mattress is probably 10 plus years old and uncomfortable, the other furnishings are also dated. Stains around the bathtub and toilet. Tub drained poorly so I was left standing in about 2 inches of water towards the end of my shower. At least the water was pretty hot.Breakfast in the morning was also a complete joke. Hard to believe it can be classified as "hot". Packaged items, boiled eggs, toast and one waffle machine that was dirty.Overall this hotel once hit with the extra 'hidden' fees and headache of a rude staff is not a value at all. 'Pet friendly' with their own made up policy different than what is stated via corporate.Would not recommend. Too many other options in the area. Look elsewhere.

A good choice if traveling with pets & a trailer. It's a cheap, small, older motel in need of upgrades . However, the staff were amazing and friendly, it's affordable, they accept dogs and have a good size lot for easy trailer parking. The beds were okay , the shower & bathroom were tiny, but the laminate floors were great.Don't expect the Ritz-Carlton... it's a roadside motel across the street from a Dennys.Food & drinks: Dennys walkable distanceNoteworthy details: Dog friendly

Was good nights sleep they have a awesome trucker or trailer parking in the back and it’s super convenient. Only a 20$ per pet fee which was nice. Breakfast was decent. The little diner next door Ramblin roadhouse diner I think was pretty good expensive but decent!! All in all a great stay :)

Looks like they are trying to make some improvements but also parts of property look dated. Room is good size with the usual accessories. Breakfast is very basic. Worst part of the stay was pulling out from under the drive through after check in. Turned left to u-turn and my car was nearly demolished on the under carriage and front end by a large drain in the road. Terrible planning.

I tried staying here last night, but the lady at the front desk was so incompetent, I ultimately left to visit the Courtyard next door. First, she did not use the reservation I had, and charged me for a second room for $45 more than what I reserved. When I asked her to cancel it, she said she couldn't. So I was charged for 2 rooms. I am also a Diamond member so I should get a free upgrade to a Suite. She did not understand that either, and said that I was not one, even after showing her my app with the card. Then I just asked her to charge me for a Suite and I would get it taken care of in the morning. She didn't understand that either. After over 45 minutes of trying to explain it to her, I ended up leaving to the hotel across the street. While I was there, I saw another family that was trying the La Quinta, but left as well because of the same issues. I would highly recommend staying somewhere else.
