Department Stores in Farmington, NM

“Without a doubt I am giving these T.J Maxx Team members and their store a big 5 and if it allowed me I would give them a lot more.I travel to Farmington NM quite often, this weekend I decided to spend Halloween up this way with my teen daughter We had had a late dinner but as always wanted to visit T.J. Maxx. When we got to the parking lot it was close to 9pm and hardly any other cars were around we thought we were out of luck.My daughter checked their website and we found they didn't close till 10pm. We were excited and immediately headed in. We we're welcomed by the cashier with a cheerful voice. We had an hour so we headed to the isle's. It was easy to find exactly what we were looking for as the floor personal were obviously doing a great job straightening things out after a busy Sunday and coordinating everything very well by size, color and dept. Throughout the store. It took us 15 minutes to find a pile of clothes and other items we were there for. We headed to the fitting room and we're also greeted by a very friendly, cheerful and kind Xiana, who not only tended to us but was noticably keeping a customers little boy entertained with play and conversation while also putting things away. I also appreciated the fact that someone was announcing closing time every 15 minutes which helped a great deal. When we got to the cashier who's name is Sela she also greeted us in a very welcoming way asking us if we had found everything okay and thanking us for taking the hangers off the pile of clothes we had picked out and making it to the registers on time before closing. She also apologized if we didn't find every item on our list, as she mentioned being short staffed. I was pretty surprised to hear that because my daughter agreed that the store was not only so clean extremely organized and well kept but as always full of great merchandise. Something we don't see often back home. I was happy to tell her we aways enjoy this store for the great quality and amazing service regardless of what time we shopped. We truly want to appreciate everyone who makes it happen here, because all though it was late and staff was probably tired everyone was still willing to ensure great service was giving to us. That gives us great satisfaction as customers who will always come back. T.J. Maxx in Farmington NM you guy ROCK!!! “I really like the staff, they make you feel welcomed, where you can relax, and enjoy trying shoes on ,and looking at bags and bedding. Those were the departments that I was in, and I am sure that all the departments are that helpful as well. I would love to put a great shout-out to the lady in the perfume area when I was asking for help in the bag area because the main lady was helping in a different area. The lady said she could help me,I was impressed most places of business do not do that. I would just love to say to the staff in shoes, perfume,bedding,and hand bags you lady's are doing a great job of Dillards store of Farmington New Mexican, to keep up the wonderful atmosphere. I have not felt that in years with any other shopping experience in town or even in other states. Thank you”

“In the phone department, a young man named Dallas was a tremendous help after I bought a new phone & needed help with it. He was patient and courteous, answering all my questions and he helped get it set up to use the Square for sales.”

“I'm always happy to stop in at Ross'. I went looking for 3 items a mid size purse, a long sleeve t shirt and a pair of lounge pants. I was able to find them all at reasonable prices, and used the rest room. Myself and 2 other customers did have to call for customer service to unlock for us. Thanks, Ross.”

“I scheduled some haircuts for me & my oldest daughter. We ended up being serviced by Loretta in the salon. She did an amazing job on my daughter's hair. Added long layers & curtain bangs that came out really cute, even though my daughter kept moving. She also fixed a bad haircut I got from Great Clips. My layers & bangs came out perfect. She actually took her time & made sure I got the perfect haircut. Thank you, Loretta. We'll be back to purchase some Olaplex & will continue to use you as our hair stylist.”

“My experience was somewhat a shot in the dark. I needed to get a temporary netspend bank card and was to no avail!!!... However, a very sweet and nice employee by the name, Vera was so helpful in going above and beyond with finding local retailers that may carry such cards and wrote a list of stores to visit... much appreciated and thank you, Vera!!!”

“I have been to this W 10 times in the last month. It is better stocked and cleaner than most W across the country. The staff were friendly when I was friendly. I'm 62 and they wouldn't let me buy alcohol without ID and pointed to the posted sign. I have always thought this is moronic but it is policy and I got over it, bought my beer at the next store. I have encountered people from NY to Hawaii and what appears as "rude" or lacking courtesy is sometimes a misperception. I doubt have expectations when I meet someone or hold someone under my thumb because they are and employee and should...yada yada. Everyone is human. Start with respect & kindness and doors will open for you. I just moved here and 1 month in, I love it.”

“I was very pleased with my warranty service on my Samsung washer, dryer and fridge. My appointment was prompt and the technician was very thorough. Joseph Cox did an excellent job and was very knowledgeable. That is the first time the washer, dryer and fridge were pulled out away from the wall and thoroughly cleaned and thoroughly checked. This young man deserves a 9.”

“I've been to this salon more than a few times for a silk press and now to maintain my locs. Terry has been my stylist every time. She is passionate about caring for my hair and she has definitely given me an excellent customer experience. She recently retied and repaired my locs. It has definitely been a challenge getting my hair done in this city but Terry keeps pushing her limits as a stylist and has learned and continues to learn how to care for my hair.
