I planned on staying here for about 2 weeks but the receptionist by the name Linda was very rude on the phone. As nice as the outside, I’m not sure about the inside. I should have read other reviews before.

No internet upon arrival, hotel staff ill equipped to resolve. There is a handy flyer in the room you can call to troubleshoot if you’re too stupid to click “Marriott Bonvoy” I travel about 300 nights a year, over 100 last year with this brand and this is a first. Neither of my phones, laptop or Roku will connect… what an awful hotel that just got an update but spent no money on anything a guest would benefit from, but hey, at least the lobby has new floors!

The lobby is being renovated, no mention of this on the app. For some reason, the lobby renovation caused the pool to be closed. The entrance door was frequently inoperative.Had to wake up the desk clerk to check in.The hot water from the sink and shower was barely lukewarm.The room was laid out poorly, making it awkward to get in and out.The village inn restaurant next door is a great place for breakfast.

The staff here are a prime example of why Marriott stands out above the rest. Only downside to my visit was the indoor pool and whirlpool were closed, I assume to the remodeling taking place in the lobby. Rooms are very nice, beds are comfy, and look newly remodeled. Very nice hotel.

It's currently under renovations, so, it's kinda messy. But the room was nice. It had a nice blow dryer and a soap dispensing system in the shower, which I appreciate, since I often worry about excess waste. We had also originally chose it for the pool, which wasn't available. Oh, well.Food & drinks: There's a bar in the lobby. I didn't make it there, but it's open till 10. Not sure if there's a restaurant.

I was recently invited to a Christmas dinner at the event center and the experience led me to leave a review. The servers and the bartenders’ service was impeccable. However when the chef (I assume he was your chef because he was wearing a chef coat) threw a massive temper tantrum was the most disgusting behavior of a so called professional I have ever experienced! There is a time and place to have an adult discussion with your fellow coworkers. This person decided he needed attention right then and there. To the managers/owners: this man child needs to be dealt with immediately!! He will be the reason why you cannot hang on to good employees. His behavior was uncalled for. To call people names and belittle others! There was a line at the bar and we were all patiently waiting for our turn to get our drinks when this “chef” threw his fit while slamming a table together and yelling at other employees and throwing his fit. It was unprofessional behavior and doing it in front of customers was uncalled for. He made us all feel very uncomfortable. Our servers kept apologizing to us for HIS behavior. He needs to be terminated immediately!Food & drinks: The food was okay. But the actions of your “chef” ruined my experience. Your servers/bartenders tried to make up for it but they shouldn’t have to.

This hotel is clean and in a good location when visiting the area. The customer service we received was exceptional from Mire, Megan and Ivy. They each went above and beyond to accommodate our needs. It’s customer service such as this that keeps me coming back to Marriott. My thanks to each of them for a job well done.

This is a lovely, newly remodeled hotel. The rooms have been remodeled, and they continue to do some finishing touches on the remainder of the hotel. The room was spectacular for a hotel in this price range. I requested a mobility accessible room, and everything was designed perfectly for a person in a wheelchair. The beds were set at wheelchair height to allow for easy transfer. The bathroom was well-designed as well. All areas of the hotel were very clean and aesthetically pleasing. As is the case with most Courtyards, they did not provide a complimentary breakfast. I was very pleased!!

The most unprofessional front desk receptionist I’ve ever had the displeasure of talking with. I won’t call her a woman because only childish girls hang up on someone when they’re trying to get a phone number from their contacts I called back and she had the audacity to keep hanging up on me or send me to hold She never answered the phone again. I don’t know what kind of individuals you have working there, but she should not be in that position. She’s very childish. It’s so funny how children think they should be in those kinds of positions with customer service.

My room had a strange smell that I could not identify. Kind of like... that smell when people dye their hair... it was a chemical, acrid, & bitter smell.Now the hotel has done a total makeover so it could be some adhesives. Perhaps a smell coming from the curing of the pool?Anyway, the location was great central to my destinations in town. The Berg Park and Riverwalk trail behind the hotel was dreamy, and I loved it.

We were their for an anniversary celebration. The air conditioning was not working, and the price for drinks was outrageous. The reception staff were great, keeping the ice water flowing.

I edited this review because it was based on a bad experience that Marriott addressed. The facility is great albeit under renovation. Certain amenities were not available during my visit. And I’m disappointed they don’t have a breakfast as part of the stay. I would stay here again, but I would call ahead to ensure the renovations are complete.

Nice remodeled hallways & rooms. I had no room keys all week, I had to ask to be let into my room EVERY time I wanted in. Beyond me how they didn't fix this problem asap, It was a week of this. Bar is very tiny, ok for taking a drink up to your room. Gym was incredibly hot, had to get a pass at a local gym instead.

Been staying here weekly for work. The beautiful river view on the balcony is wonderful, the rooms are always clean, the front desk staff is always accommodating and friendly but...the Bistro staff is my favorite part! I thought customer service was dead...nope. Thank you Renita, Jacoby, Sammy...all of you for making being away from home easier. The nicest people!Yes renovations happen. Yes the river attracts bugs on the balconies sometimes. The people here though, make it a great stay. Thanks guys!
