Took my vehicle in for a diagnostic and the shop.didnt waste anytime. Before I was even out of town, they called me and gave me a diagnosis with the issues on my vehicle and gave me a quote and an estimated time of repairs. My vehicle was ready in a couple days, even with a transmission repair. The Shop personnel was very professional and kept me up to date on the progress, up to when the repairs were completed. Extremely Happy with their work. Highly Recommend this automotive shop for repairs.

I have a 1980 BMW that needed some TLC to get back on the road. I found the manager extremely helping and more than knowledgeable about issues with my car. They were always professional and accommodating…but I will say I allowed them to do their job and do it correctly. They are busy (and for good reason) and so I didn’t expect them to drop everything for me. I am passing the word that Al’s does a great job for a reasonable price.

Awful customer service!! Very disorganized and unprofessional!! I dropped my vehicle off two days prior for an air conditioning leak. The girl who was working in the front office, only asked for my phone number and what the problem was. Didn't ask for any vehicle information, or my name or any other contact info. She then tried to tell me what I had done wrong with my vehicle. I was already aware of what was wrong and only needed the problem fixed. That should have been my first clue. She then advised me that she had no idea when my vehicle would get into the garage or when I would be able to get it back. I called twice the next day. The first time we spoke, she stated that she would call me back within the next 30 minutes. TWO HOURS LATER I called again, having not heard from her, to ask for the estimate. She gave me several excuses as to why she didn't call and gave me my estimate. I stated that the timeframe wasn't going to work for me and I was coming to get my vehicle. She told me they were "technically closed" and she couldn't wait the 15 minutes for me to come pick up my vehicle. I only have the one vehicle and now have to wait due to her incompetence. Will definitely be sharing with friends and colleagues to never go there due to incompetence, lack of customer service and no visible management structure.

Edit after they’re snarky response: Even after arguing with me for 20 minutes they’re still trying to argue. See attached picture of their estimate and think for yourself if a rear end collision could cause damage to a rear shock stressing out the air ride suspension. You don’t have to be a mechanic to make this determination. Just think and read all the comments before you take your car here.I can’t tell you enough NOT TO GO HERE!! I’m not the type to write a bad review, but for the good of my community I had to. I was told that Mercedes doesn’t do full point inspections despite having paperwork proving my vehicle was inspected 8 days prior to bringing it in after being hit by someone. If Al’s looks at your car they’ll say things in the report like “awhile” without being able to explain what timeline “awhile” fits into. While having the audacity to say Mercedes’ doesn’t do full inspections. I’ve never received anything from Mercedes stating “awhile”. The office (insert expletive here. I don’t know what else to call her) just wants to argue, more than helping customers out. She argued with me for over 20 minutes, talked over me, didn’t listen, and was very unprofessional. If they spent as much time actually looking at your vehicle as they did arguing it would be a halfway decent shop. Save yourself some time and find a reputable shop to take your vehicle. I’ll be taking mine to Albuquerque and have my car done right.

Uncle Bob's couldn't work on my alternator, so he sent me here. I had limped into Farmington with my alternator light on. A few hours later he had me all fixed up with a new alternator from O'Reilly's. His mechanic inspected the belt and checked that the pulleys were moving freely. So, by midday I was on my way. The price was probably comparable to a dealer repair. So I'm grateful, it could have been so much worse all around.
