I handled my transaction and delivery options over the phone, and Toas Crating guided me thoroughly through all the shipping details. Their customer service was outstanding, and I would definitely recommend their expertise and services.
I received my package and it arrived in perfect condition. Taos Crating really excelled in their packing. Thank you!
Unfortunately, FedEx left my package outside my house without obtaining a signature. Thankfully, my dog alerted me, and I managed to catch up to the FedEx driver and gave him a piece of my mind.

Taos Crating is the only packing,crating and shipping store that I will ever go to in Taos. The service is impeccable and the owners are super friendly and they know their job better than anyone that I have dealt with period.

Russell packed paintings, works on paper, an Edward Curtis print, and fragile Native American pots and contemporary ceramics for our move across the country, and I could not be more grateful. The moving van that transported some of the work encountered heavy rain and leaked in some places, and the artwork in the boxes that got damp arrived perfectly safely because everything was packed so well. We could not be happier with the support we received from Russell and Taos Crating. Their services were worth every penny and I can recommend them without reservation.

Have been taking my work to Russell for many years. He custom builds beautiful crates and boxes and ships the work off to collectors for me. Once the piece is complete and I'm exhausted, I always rest assured it will be handled professionally, safely. The pricing is fair, the work is excellent, and the customer service is top notch. Why would I ever go somewhere else? I wouldn't. Haha

These guys are great. They make sure your stuff makes it there perfectly preserved. I sent one frame with a shirt and some stickers. They packed it with 17 pounds of padding. After paying $130 for shipping something that would take me a day to drive to (and it was a 20” x 20” frame) I paid the same in freight that the gas would cost to drive it myself. The package should be showing up with some really nice pillows, maybe a mattress, etc. Thanks for handling this precious cargo. Hopefully it shows up with some expensive soft feathers as well!

Happy to write a great review for these guys. After trying to ship something small and oddly shaped through the local UPS, and being told a small box would be $17 and they charge anywhere from $3 to $10 if they have to do any taping for me (there’s a sign at the desk), I left. Stumbled upon Taos Crating, and their UPS sign, so stopped in. They sold me a great box for MUCH less, AND customized it and taped it up for me, and sent off my package. They were much more agreeable in general, and he answered my questions about custom packaging one of my pieces of art, when I asked. Great service, highly recommend!
