Wow! The service, food, and atmosphere are unbeatable. Every person working here is delightfully friendly and welcoming. The atmosphere is super relaxing compared to 5 minutes in either direction. Thanks for having such a great spot.

We loved having breakfast here. We spent 4 days in Taos and ate breakfast here twice. Everything was so delicious. I really loved their sourdough toast with the most amazing jam. I wish they sold their jam. The farmhouse breakfast was perfect. Eggs, bacon, and really good breakfast potatoes.

My hubs and two year old daughter visited for breakfast- very fresh food. I really enjoyed the bison empanadas and chai. The rest of our dishes were a little lackluster in the flavor department. Really great service and fun location with beautiful outdoor area!

Farmhouse Cafe makes the best GF options in Taos. My favorites are the lasagna (nice large portion and you'd never know it was GF!) and their amazing super moist carrot cake. When we splurge, we go here! Plus their Mayan hot chocolate drink is one of our go-to favorites
Dietary restrictions: Great gf options!

We enjoyed breakfast here recently, choosing the Zia Breakfast plate with egg, fresh vegetables and mushrooms. Yummy!
We appreciate that the restaurant uses organic products. The atmosphere is very pleasant and the wait staff was friendly.

Our experience seems so strange after all of the good reviews, but the service we had was quite poor - slow and inattentive. The Mayan Warrior drink was delicious. The Zia breakfast was ok but the “grilled” avocado was not grilled. The worst thing, though, was the huevos rancheros, which were the worst I’ve ever had. It was just a thick pile of beans with some cheese stirred in. I could barely taste the green chili I asked for and there were no tortillas underneath. The server apologized and brought me some, but it just wasn’t good and looked like no huevos rancheros I’ve ever seen. The server comped us 25% and apologized, which was nice, but it was very disappointing.

I have waited to eat at busy brunch restaurants. The wait for this one was 45 minutes,
OK, we’ll wait. After waiting an hour. we were seated and waited another 10 minutes for a server. By now it was 1:00 p.m. past the brunch rush, with plenty of empty tables around us. Another 20 minutes later (not bad) our food arrived. We had burgers. The fries were not done and very greasy. The only thing with flavor on my plate was the homemade bun, which was good. My meat had absolutely no flavor.
Granted, I was “hangry” by the time our food arrived but honestly, I cannot understand why people love this place so much.

A cozy spot in Taos offering a wide variety of delicious pastries and breakfast/lunch options. We tried the Chai latte, chocolate croissant, banana pecan scone, eggs Benedict and the huevos rancheros. Everything was outstanding and very reasonably priced. The service was warm and friendly. If you’re ever in Northern NM, Farmhouse is well worth a visit.
