I live outside of Santa Fe but am in the ABQ area semi-frequently and happened to drive by Secondhand Treasures on my way back home recently and since I never pass by a secondhand/thrift store without stopping I pulled in and I am sure happy I did! This is a wonderful store! Full of really well organized merchandise , it has been a very long time since I had to actually restrain myself from buying all the things I wanted in a secondhand shop. I walked out with one of my best hauls in a long time and am thrilled with how well I did. The staff was very helpful and fun to chat with and everything felt clean and taken care of. I will for sure be back and may even make it a point to come down just to visit this store. Also, as someone who is also involved in animal rescue, knowing that proceeds support a good cause is awesome!

I have shopped here for years. My experience is hit and miss as far as enjoyable. One volunteer regularly gate keeps the jewelry display and is quite unpleasant to me Every.Time. I collect jewelry for myself and certain family and friends. I always find something nice but there are times I leave feeling insulted. As a woman of color, it's disturbing that I have to leave feeling like I just stepped back into the 1950s. The staff are generally nice and they do have great stuff just be aware the atmosphere can come off as elitist.

One woman consistently has a gate keeping attitude especially when showing jewelry. I have shopped there for years but sometimes feel like I’m being judged as a woman of color. Especially if she is there. I enjoy the shop enough to return. I always find something nice got myself or as a gift but the experience is often ruined with a rude attitude. They need to work on this. It’s not the 1960s anymore

Delightful experience visiting their shop and visiting with the woman running it (owner probaby?). The clothing and such are in the back in a separate building and the housewares are in the larger structure up front, parking is pretty tight/narrow for pulling out when you leave but there's at least available parking. I especially like her book prices, unfortunately her Barbies were priced over resellers on ebay and other sites, but it is for a charity, so help the animals!

If you haven't been to Second Hand Treasures New location you better get yourself down there Pronto. They have something for everyone, even your curmudgeonly uncle Bob that didn't get you a Christmas gift, again, this year. Jewelry, art work, apparel, CDs, books, housewares, brick a bracket, you get the picture.

So many neat things to see and buy. They even had an adoption event there and the cutest puppies and kittens from Bridges to Home! I scored a matching paor of dvd shelves for my books and a couple of onesies for a grandbaby! Parking is a little snug, but lots of great finds!

This thrift shop benefits the Southwest Animal Rescue Fund. Best place to donate books, clothes and household items.

Looks small on the outside and is bigger on the inside. Employees are very kind. They're not open often or for very long but I hope that changes.
