Had an emergency transmission issue while driving through Clovis. The guys at Trans-Matic took great care of my vehicle and gave straight forward advice. I'm so grateful for the peace of mind they gave us while needing to drive 3 more hours to our destination. Thanks guys?

Can't thank Larry enough for his help on our cross-country road trip. We started having transmission trouble and visited his shop. We really thought the trans might finally be a goner. On the spot he took a moment to listen and even come out and do a quick assessment before he set us up for an appt that would've been later in the day. His advice ended up being right... he suggested it (still) might just be our fluid levels, and then taught me more about how the trans works and how much fluid it actually needs. So we filled up, kept our fingers crossed, and he was right! We've since made it all the way back to NJ without a problem. His advice helped so much and so thankful to have someone to trust. Thank you so much Larry!!!

I have a transmission that is slipping, and I needed to know some solutions and prices to remedy this situation. I received a bill for $162 and a quote, "After connecting your truck to a vehicle scanner codes show you have a bad transmission." I paid it, and I must say I left with a bad experience to be told what I already knew. By the way, a remanufactured or a new transmission will cost close to $4,000. Either way, I found a great and reputable mechanic that can rebuild the existing transmission with warranty for under $2500. This place was a rude awakening not to trust a name just because that is their specialty. Call around before coming here unless you have NO choice. There are other vehicle shops with mechanics in town, good ones, if not better than here. Call around.

Absurd prices. Complete rip off .transmission shop at home will do the same plus more for $1,300 with a better warranty . Can't do business with locals if they want too rip of customers
