Went to 2 other mechanics before them and they all tried to charge me and arm and a leg and wouldn't work with my insurance, got here and they worked with my insurance even though my insurance was being difficult. And when they got the parts to fix my truck they did it in a quick manner and kept me updated only gonna go to them from now on.

AAS helped me rebuild the entire front end and engine of my ford and had it running like a champ ? if it wasn’t for them I wouldn’t have had a vehicle at all!! I’m forever grateful for them and their entire team!

Absolutely terrible. I took my truck in for some front end work and they left a lot of things loose. When I called them on it they asked what I wanted them to do about it. It didn't even seem like a real business.

The only shop in town I trust to work on my vehicle. No "well we fixed this but X,Y, and Z need repairs also" type of interactions.I have brought my truck there two times and both times have been happy with the work performed and the timeframe it was completed in. I recently went to American Automotive Services after a nightmare of an experience with the chevy dealership in town. These guys took a genuine interest in the issue at hand with the fuel system and were able to get my car in the next day to do a diagnostic check. It took them less than a half a day to do what the dealership couldn't do in a months time and had my car running. I was also very appreciative with the follow up check they did at the end of the day to ensure everything was running smoothly. They were knowledgeable, honest, expeditious, and professional. I will definitely be going back if i ever need a vehicle serviced again. If your looking for a hard working honest team, these guys deserve a look.Services: Engine repair

I have take multiple vehicle to American Automotive Services and they have always taken good care of me. Great service and extremely knowledgeable. Worst possible experience. I took the day off from work to drive 8 hours there and back to buy a truck from American Automotive. Max convinced me that they are a full service shop and that they could do the pre-purchase inspection. I told him I would pay for it. The vehicle was in a front end collision two years ago and so I SPECIFICALLY TOLD HIM FOCUS ON ANY FRONT END ISSUES. He said all was working and running perfectly and sent pictures of various parts. I get there and shimmy under the truck...THE FRONT OF THE FRAME HAD BEEN REPLACED. The welds didn't even fill the gap between the two pieces of the frame. The work was not done in a licensed shop or it would have shown up in car history AND it would have been done properly. The truck is worthless and after I pointed it out, Max tried to say it was better than new...He knew nothing about structural repair to a truck. He honestly didn't really seem to care.If they can't do a pre-purchase inspection, they DEFINITELY can't find what is needed to repair a vehicle. Great service and Max went out of his way to help. We were staying at Travelers World campground and our diesel truck started running rough. The RV park office recommended American Automotive so I gave them a call and was able to get the truck looked at and quoted the next day. It did end up costing more than the quote but only because a couple sensors had to be replaced which couldn't be diagnosed until they got under the hood. All in all a great experience with honest people. They even picked dropped me off and picked me up.

Cody saved us! Friday at 5 we were driving thru town on our way from Houston to Washington and needed fuel filter changed on our hotshot truck. He was willing to stay open late and get the job done with the quickness & get us back on the road. Fast, friendly, knowledgeable and professional. Thanks again Cody!
