“This is the nicest hotel we’ve stayed at in northern New Mexico/ southern Colorado. A genuinely charming western-themed gem, really nice wood furniture and mountain decor. It was the off-season and Chama was a ghost town, perfect for our backcountry skiing trip. It’s probably awesome during the summer train season, stay here and ride the Cumbres and Toltec (photographers make note). Check out the store below the rooms, we were here last summer and they had some cool gifts and local-themed artsy stuff.”
