I had a non-standard passport replacement need since I will be traveling on official government-related business. The postmaster, Jann Miller Chavez, and her staff were incredibly knowledgeable of Department of State policies and extremely helpful. I walked out of the post office feeling a great sense of relief. The post office I went to went above and beyond in addressing my needs; it was truly exceptional service.
My passport appointment took longer than expected due to me having to wait on some authorization paperwork to come in from my FFRDC, so I got to watch them as they worked. They seemed to know everyone in their town by name, treating each person with respect and giving every customer their undivided attention. I speak with no exaggeration: everyone I saw who came in walked out with a smile on their face.
This post office is an example of an institution where citizens regularly interact with their government, and I believe people's perceptions of the government are shaped by these interactions. Postmaster Miller Chavez and her staff do more than just handle the mail; they are a foundational source of trust in government. Their dedication to providing top-notch service and their genuine care for the community are commendable. I am grateful for their assistance and highly recommend their services to anyone in need.

I had a package that arrived at your facility. I had called because the package had my old address on file. I asked if it could be picked up instead. To hold it for me. Not only did that not happen but the lady that answered the phone was sooooooo rude . My mother even showed up there to pick it up from the post station. She chewed her out and said "I already told him" that they were gonna send it out to my new addres...... it got sent back to the sender ! Why wouldn't she just let me have my God damn package ! ?

Just turned in our passport renewals at Cedar Crest. The two women working this morning could not have been kinder or more professional (or cooler), even when I sort of freaked out that they needed to take a new photo. Both my kids did their passports @ CC too. It's worth the drive from ABQ!

Jann was the nicest and most helpful person. We found out that she was the Post Master at Cedar Crest. The post office was clean and Jann and Julissa were very professional and Jann helped us with our passports. We have come to this post office before and were treated the same way. All post offices should be as great as Cedar Crest! Thank You Jann & Julissa!
