The OT practitioners are excellent. They observe, listen, stay up-to-date, and do a lot of effective manual manipulation in office, in addition to, providing exercises for home. Most of my care was given in Cedar Crest. I was received with care and compassion.Brendan and Melu were my practitioners, both excellent listeners with very effective techniques. They are the best therapists I've ever had, truthfully. They worked with me after wrist surgery increasing range of motion, loosening scar tissue for more mobility, following muscle, and tendon tension up the arm, and releasing it, and loosening knuckles. All magic to me.My advice working with therapists is to listen to/feel your body and keep a stream of back and forth communication concerning how it feels, how it reacts, and allow modifications. Also, they need to know about your pain, including other pain in your body, so that they have a complete understanding of your makeup. Your effort, team playing, and communication are paramount. The office is welcoming, the staff friendly, professional, responsive, and super helpful. Megan makes making appointments super easy. The staff notifies me of cancelations without having to ask. It's standard procedure. It is a busy and well-run office. They take care of insurance and billing extremely efficiently offering convenience to every client.I have not had PT at this facility.Having had oodles of OT and PT practitioners from many offices and of various skill levels over the years, I've found the best OTs on the planet here. I strongly recommend you try EM Physical Therapy.

My doctor referred me to East Mountain Physical Therapy when he prescribed PT for knee problems. I was under a tight deadline to rehab an injury and develop strength for a hike I was going on in Germany. . . From the front office staff, to the principal physical therapist, to the pt assistants, these people went out of their way to help me reach my goals! They were professional, compassionate, effective and efficient. I have had many PT experiences in the past, and truly, this place was THE BEST EVER!!!!!One reason for the high quality of care they are able to provide is that EMPT has a policy of seeing ONE patient per caregiver per hour. I have never received that kind of dedicated attention before, as most places schedule several overlapping patients with one provider at the same time. Just amazing! Because of this policy, the therapist and therapy assistants seem less stressed/scattered and more focused (because they are not spread so thin), and the work environment seems really positive and like they are all just a really good team. The unique way they are operating is a win-win for everyone.I would definitely recommend this place to anyone needing physical therapy, and I will certainly return there if I do.Thank you EMPT for helping me "climb my mountain!"

I don't know where to begin to say that the staff is only a 5 star rating because they are so much more! From the moment you walk in to office, the front desk assistants are so friendly and caring, and make you feel comfortable. The therapists are just amazing! They are honest with your needs. Meaning, they show compassion and take into consideration in assisting you in reaching your goals! I have been going to East Mountain Physical Therapy for a while due to my medical needs and I will not go anywhere else! Thank you, East Mountain Physical Therapy!!!!

East Mountain Physical Therapy is such a great place to go to for your physical therapy needs. I recently came here on a recommendation from a friend. I was having calve pain while running and could not figure it out on my own. I can’t hear and immediately the staff were friendly and helpful. Janice was so knowledgeable and so friendly! She continued to provide me with so many useful tips and tricks to help my pain. Over the course of the treatment, I went back and had to reschedule and the office secretary was extremely accommodating. Also, now I can run again! This is a great place to come to!

My mother in law needed PT for severe mobility challenges. She received PT for about a year from EMPT - Cedar Crest. I attended the majority of her sessions and was AMAZED at the professionalism, compassion and expertise of the staff there. They knew exactly how far to push my MIL and when to offer a "break"...they were SO tuned in to her and her limitations. They genuinely wanted to see her succeed and took the time to educate us along the way, giving practical ways we could work at home.Compassionate and encouraging staff! HIGHLY recommend!

I have been to many physical therapy clinics over the years, and East Mountain PT is my favorite. Every member of the staff is courteous and professional. They not only show that they care, but they keep the atmosphere friendly and cheerful which is encouraging when you're hurting and struggling. I have had therapy there multiple times, and every time, they have helped me, whether rehabing my knees after total knee replacements, or suffering with back and neck pain. I come back time after time because they try until they find just the thing that works. They are very careful to consider the whole person, and are excellent in helping the family to understand the condition, as well. They make me smile at every visit. I highly recommend East Mountain Physical Therapy.

Because of severe mobility problems, I needed physical therapy. I had therapy for about a year at EMPT - Cedar Crest. During that time, my wonderful PT Janine worked with me and at times Katie and Jana. I was shown nothing but respect, kindness, compassion, patience and their determination to help me become more mobile and more independent. Their knowledge and expertise along with their compassion and knowing when and how much to expect of me lead me to improving. I HIGHLY recommend EMPT - Cedar Crest for anyone needing PT. They are wonderful!

Unprofessional staff all of the way around. My mother has had an aneurysm, plus multiple falls. She’s in A LOT of pain daily. They treated her as if she made it all up. Told family not to treat her like a baby. Refused to help out her put her shoe on and when a family member helped they told her to stop . I understand this is place to make you stronger, but this was only her second week and you can make ppl stronger without belittling them. I’m outraged after hearing my already depressed mother cry to me because they all laughed at her as they walked out to tell her she was not welcome back. She addressed what was said the tech denied the truth and they believed her. There are witnesses to the truth and still sat there to make my mom feel worse than she feels as if she made it all up. Unprofessional.every patient should matter. And acting like some middle school girls laughing as my mother is crying is totally uncalled for.

Great place. I highly recommend this place. Maybe the only place that would work exclusively on you for one hour. Everyone is very nice and helpful.

I have tried getting in touch with these people but they never answer the phones and their voicemail doesn’t work. From the looks of the reviews, they seem great. Unfortunately, I don’t think I will get to experience this. Guess I’ll try some place in Albuquerque ??♀️

Inconsistent treatment - I rarely worked with the same person (even students) and every visit was like a box of chocolates. Then I was made to fell like I wasn't working hard enough at home because I wasn't progressing. Find somewhere else...

Had a pretty bad sprain in my finger that no one could treat. Melu knew just the thing I needed and I have been feeling better ever since.
