Its in a beautiful place very nice and inviting. The weather stays pretty cool temperature wise and when it rains omg its so amazing so beautiful. Its right near many hiking trails and a bakery, ribs, taco many other places to eat drink and hang out are literally right across the street. Its very clean and maintained inside. Its also under new ownership and they are incredible people very nice and friendly they made sure we had everything we needed. The rooms are very nice and homey as well as the whole place really warm not like these corporate hotels. Beautiful sunsets and sunrises. 10/10 i would highly recommend to stay here you really get to see the beauty of new mexico.
Rooms: Very clean clean beds and sheets floors windows and bathrooms
Walkability: Trails and other cool places
Food & drinks: Right by tacos ribs coffee and bar

Insulting to their guests. I drove one of their guests from the airport, he was looking forward to the solar eclipse and the balloon fiesta. We arrived @ 4PM but his room wasn’t ready. The worst part is they wouldn’t even let him in the door or offer him as much as a chair to sit in the shade or even to hold his luggage! Luckily I saw there was a problem and I stayed to take him to the barbecue place across the street where they told him to wait-also still closed. The poor man would have to wait and carry his luggage back when his room was finally ready. They couldn’t leave a text or even a voicemail to let him know his room wasn’t ready when he landed? This is NOT the New Mexico hospitality I’m accustomed to taking my passengers to.

Their Covid policy breaks the law. Phone skills are lacking as well as people skills. I strongly urge all my followers to avoid.

I've stayed here in the shared female dorm twice and enjoyed it very much. Calm atmosphere. It's never been very crowded. Full kitchen.

What a great place to stay. I found them online, not wanting yet another hotel room, and was greeted by a dinosaur and two humans. Intrigued? The home is set back from the road, so there's no road noise. They have both Air BNB rooms and hostel rooms. The hostel area had a fireplace, small kitchen, and cozy living area. The owner and manager were very pleasant people, and I hope to stay there again.

Jim runs the place and Mary was around helping out when I was there, both great guides to the area and gave me great recommendations on food, coffee, campsites, and roads to hit on my motorcycle!Hostel itself is probably quite empty so you'll most likely have the entire kitchen, living area, and bedroom to yourself! Great location to go explore Scandia Mountain!

Beautiful bed and breakfast. Hosts are wonderful people and the casita decor is lovely. There is a small kitchen in the unit and access to a lovely outdoor space. It is just 15 minutes from Albuquere in the east mountains. As a bonus, Amaya, the owner will even arrange to give you a private belly dance class if you book a stay. Hummingbirds are a summer speciality of this B&B.

It's a great hostel only 15-20 minutes from the airport. It's cheap and it's quiet.
