Absolutely some cool art!! Stop by. Open Friday Saturday and Sunday. That’s why I give it 4 stars. I really wanted to go inside!! Glancing in the window saw several things I wanted to buy. I will go back during business hours. Just pouting so I gave them four stars! From what I could see it’s really a five star spot!!!

Delightful gallery with a lovely entrance. Paintings. Jewelry, photography and a gift gallery with textiles, ceramics and very creative gifts. Several other galleries in this very creative town.

We live in Albuquerque, and once in awhile, or travels take us through Carrizozo. We always stop at this gallery to check out the lovely artwork. Many NM artists are features, and aside from paintings, you'll find some nice sculptures (there is a sculpture garden) and even some attractive jewelry. My wife frequently leaves here with a little something! And the street the gallery is on is really the heart of the "historic" district. Most of the buildings are empty, sadly, but the architecture is worth checking out.

We enjoyed our stroll through the historic building that houses the Photo Gallery. It is truly a treasure trove of different perspectives and how the diverse people of our lovely Land perceive it differently from others. On our visit, it was quite a blustery day and that simply created the mood for our visit.

Photography from all over New Mexico by New Mexican Photographers take the guests on a magical journey. New Mexico IS the Enchanted Land. Its vistas, its night skies! And its people. Displayed professionally in this large, Historic building. What a treat!

We drove 250 miles round trip only to find both the Malkerson Gallery 408 and the Tularosa Basin Photo Gallery closed. I am not sure who is responsible for updating information on your site but surely someone needs to do it! Today is Tuesday, January 15th.

Delightful art gallery in a small town off the beaten path. There are other galleries on 12th Street with the 408 Gallery. Definitely worth stopping by.

My wife and I have always admired the Burro's along Hwy 54 through Carrizozo. After 14 years of living in the region we decided to find out where to get one. Well... Gallery 408 is the place! We have never been off of Hwy 54 as we always just pass through going somewhere. Little did we know there are some neat places to see here. Pia was just a super host showing us the Gallery and Burro's. A very unique gallery with all kinds of different items. From pottery to paintings to jewelry to Burro's and stuff in between. Just turn right on 5th St if your coming from the south (Alamogordo) before Hwy 380 or left from the north after Hwy 380 off Hwy 54, hit 12th Street and enjoy!
