We had the greatest experience at Tate Branch here in Carlsbad. We got to work with Katie O’Neal & not only was she so sweet but she was so fast & efficient in the buying process even with the whole transaction being over the phone. She would update us in a timely manner. Some dealers leave u hanging it feels like for hours before you hear back, but not with Katie, she was on top of everything!!Then when we spoke to Linda in financing to finish paper work she was also very sweet and kind! She explained every paper we signed, answered all of our questions, & overall made us feel very comfortable.I will definitely return for any future vehicle purchases.

I only have great things to say about Tate Branch Carlsbad and their wonderful service department, and their awesome customer service!!Val Reyes Sr. was such a huge help to me and went above and beyond what was expected.My 2022 GMC Terrain that I bought in Midland, Texas was recalled due to the blind spot monitors. Tate Branch was able to get the parts ordered (that took awhile due to the suppy chain shortage) and once they received those, they got my vehicle in and accomplished everything that needed to be done. I couldn't be happier & I highly recommend them!Their Express service that is next door is amazing as well! I had an oil change appt. for 10 am. Got there 5 minutes early and checked in. They didn't move my truck into the service bay until 10: 23 and didn't finish until 11:24. I have just started shopping for a new truck, they won't be my first stop. When I stated almost an hour and a half for an oil change with an appt is not express I got excuses, not a we are sorry.

We took my car in, with the car care insurance. The insurance, car shield, is fantastic thus far, they paid for everything. Which makes me wonder what kind of scam your dealership is trying to pull.Here is the problem I have with your dealership. A dealership is supposed to have the best mechanics money can buy. This is not true at this dealership, it can't be. These people did not put all the bolts back into my car (missing the bolt to the power steering pump fluid, the coolant reservoir and 2 brackets on the actual engine is missing its bolts. None of the hoses or wires are pinned down like they were before. When I took my car in, it had a dry cough, as in, it had a dry start up. It took this shop over 2 months and $4,000+ only to get my car back with missing bolts and now I am stranded because of some kind of over heating problem that I did not have before I brought the car inNEVER, will I take my car to tate branch dealership and I will report you to the insurance company. If the dealership here in alamo finds out this is happening because of your negligence, I will sell everything I own to get al lawyer to sue you, shame on you. I will make sure car shield does not use you as reputable ASE mechanics. We have been trying to reach out ti this dealership since we got the car back over the missing bolts but no one ever calls us back, very frustrating. They don't let you talk to the technician, you know, the person that actually works on the vehicle, but can't answer your questions. What a mess! I am not satisfied, and will let everyone i know not to take their vehicles to you people. Now I have to pay put of pocket to fix a mess I believe your technician created by not doing their due diligence?

Dropped off my truck at the service department for a diagnostic. It's been 2 weeks now. I call everyday to several different numbers to the dealership & I cannot get anyone to answer or return a call atleast. I live in Texas & I'm having to travel just to go ask for an update on my vehicle. Answering the phone would have spared so much time. This is absolutely ridiculous.

This is the worst place ever I made an appointment 3 weeks in advance got there this morning was in waiting room for an hour went back into service Val looked at me and said am sorry I forgot to tell you we don’t have but 2 technicians. I have a recall on my Jeep. They have no loaners and then told me they don’t even have the recall parts for my Jeep I asked why didn’t they tell me that 3 weeks ago!!! He said the recall just came out. But yet my recall notice I got a month ago! Then let me know they could only order 1 spring every 7 days . They was no good customer service at. This place is the worst. I purchased a car from them a few years back and had to take it in for the clear coat coming off wheels they took pics and said they would take care of it . I called 2 weeks later to find out only for them to tell me they didn’t know what I was taking about wanted me to bring back in for more pics. They had my sister truck keep telling her they were working on it the truck never mover behind service mind you her had to get dodge involved it’s still there 5 months later.

Went to two tire shops because of a stripped lug nut on the family van, then I came here expecting to get turned away. I was wrong!!As soon as we got there Rudy and David took one look and started working on it.Thank you guys from me and my family.

Was quoted 4hrs for my repair. Had an appointment at 8 am. 14 hrs later truck was finished. Only excuse given was good mechanics are hard to find.My recommendation find some place else.

5 stars hands down best service!!Lorena Granger and Dustin went above and beyond and got me in and out! my review mirror popped off my brand new car and I freaked out! I walked in and they got me in and out in less the 10 min! I was shocked how quickly it was fixed (screw loose) most importantly how quickly they allowed me to just come in and fixed right then and there instead of coming back a month later!

I have yet to shop there, however I met Nayelia on a phone call looking for some advice and to she what she had available for cars and she was amazing. I'm new to Carlsbad and she made me welcomed and she even checked on me a week later to see how I was settling in here. I told her that if she was to give me a month I would be there to see her for a car. Looking forward to seeing her soon. Hopefully by June 3,2023.

I’m not used to having a pleasant customer service experience at ANY dealership, ESPECIALLY in the service department. But Tye, in the service department is the one exception to this. Tye’s excellent customer service has compelled me to write this review. He has had great communication with me on keeping me updated with the status on my vehicle. I hope this review gets noticed by ownership if not at least by management, because good employees who truly care like Tye, are very hard to come by and I strongly believe this gentleman should be rewarded for his great care and pride he takes in his work. Thank you Tye, for making my experience in the Tate Branch service department a great one!

Held onto my car for two weeks with no progress on making repairs, decided to take it back early as they didn't know when they'd get around to it, got overcharged for parts that they never installed, poor customer service, having to call 4-5 times before anyone picked up to get any idea what was the status of my repair
