I was here for a couple weeks for business. Internet is good, kitchen is good, gym is good, laundry room is good, staff is good. No issues with the bathroom and the water pressure is really good. They provide dove gel, shampoo, lotion, etc. I had plenty of room for all my stuff and there is enough floor space for a little workout and doing my physical therapy. I'm a side sleeper so I hated the bed. No plushness or contouring. I was able to hook HDMI from laptop to TV easily so I could stream while I worked at the desk. TV also has a bunch of HBO channels! Too many sports channels and No Fox Business :-(I can hear some noise from other rooms sometimes but didn't hear anything after 9pm which was great. If you have a room above the courtyard/fire pit area that can be annoying sometimes. They also have fresh baked chocolate chip cookies every night!This was perfect for work, good location off the main drag but close to stuff and easy to get to 285 South to get my field work done.

Elevators smelled terrible the entire time I was there. Not sure what that was about. The room was a decent size and the desk was massive so at least it was a comfortable place to do paperwork while traveling.Nearby activities: Close to Carlsbad Caverns and The Living Desert

Amazing staff vary at check in and for directions around. She even washed and folded my laundry. If I could give six star I would, above and beyond exception.Rooms: Clean and organized

Very nice staff! After driving all day, I was surprised by being "Guest of the Day". The rooms were cozy and quiet. The bed was very comfortable. The complimentary fruits, yogurts, and cookies were appreciated.

Very nice hotel. It seems designed for long term stays versus short stays. We stayed for one night and it was great, but I really wanted to stay longer. It felt like a really great apartment. The room was clean and comfortable. It came with a kitchen. Full sized fridge and freezer. Microwave and 2 burner in counter hot plate. The bed was very comfortable. I fell asleep almost instantly, which is rare for me.This hotel does not come with the normal free breakfast. In my opinion, it came with a much better pantry. Tons of complementary food in there along with even more reasonably priced quick foods for your microwave. Tv dinners, pizzas, different ramen. Some of the complementary foods were fruits, yogurt, hot chocolate, coffee, oatmeals, tea. The pantry also included toiletries, medications, and various other stuff you may need. All reasonably priced and clearly marked. The manager was amazing! She constantly restocked the pantry with the complementary stuff. And she changed up the fruit, so it was always different. That was really nice and unexpected. We were there 17 hours and saw oranges and 3 different kinds of apples. She was very personable and fun. She asked if we needed food recommendations, how our trip was, and wished us safe travels when we left. She is Exceptional at her job! We got along very well. She even went above and beyond and gave us a cute little promotional momento to remember our trip and our stay.All of the staff was very friendly and well trained at their jobs. Fast and efficient. I wasn't done chit chatting and they already had us checked in/out and were politely waiting on my chatty self to be done. This hotel is located very close to Carlsbad caverns. It's super easy to get to, easy to get to the caverns. It's 2 hours to El Paso, texas and the Mexico border. It's in a good range of several national parks, including Guadalupe national forest, heuco tanks, white sands, a canyon near Carlsbad caverns I can't recall the name of, and Roswell. I'm sure there are others. There it's loads to do all around. The city of Carlsbad, that this hotel is located in, has tons of places to eat, within a short drive. It's very comfortable and convenient. I highly recommend this hotel. I will be staying here again, hopefully very soon and for much longer.

Loved this hotel! Probably the best hotel experience I’ve had. Very quiet during the night, no loud neighbors. Room was very clean and nice. Every room comes with a full kitchen: stovetop, microwave, sink with garbage disposal, full sized fridge/freezer and a dish washer.They have washer and dryer room downstairs along with grills and a smoker outside. Games to borrow and air fryers, crockpot, and instapots you can borrow as well. We had the pool to ourselves everyday. The only thing that was a bummer was the bottom of the pool. It tore up our feet. I have blisters on my toes because the bottom is rough and needs to be redone. But other than that it was very clean and always stocked with fresh towels.We really enjoyed our stay and definitely will be choosing Candlewood suites anytime we can.

It's Carlsbad .... good and Bad a Oasis in SE New Mexico., part tourist town and mostly oilfield town, and the while town seems expensive ... its just part of the Univers in this oil boom area. I loved this hotel. As all candlewood no breakfast but the rooms extended stay always well , provisioned .... maybe bring buy a cheep wal mart sharp knife if you do cook chop veggies a lot, but otherwise good. Room cleaning 1 time a week ... isualy let the desk k ow if you wznt more.The cleaning a bit of a thing trash .aybe, but as said tell the desk and it gets done.1 big big thing .... if stating over 30days NM thing ... you will not get yoyr taxes back, so if on your own dime and Pecos or carlsbad are both viable spots staying more than 30 days, Texas may be a better option.The front desk -- amazing great people excellent helpful staff loved em 2x4x7.Laundry ... I dint want to tell this ... its a amazing secret ...afraid everyone will fi ot up when I wish to stay again... they will do your laundry get ot back next day ... 10000% worth it weight in gold .... us I had a amazing Rate for the region oilfield budgetIf in carlsbad and I an get a room its my go to... there are nicer newer extended stays ... but this place is very good, and for the money great great value.Treated me well my 37 ish days there. A/c great. Internet not so good at first asked Front desk... 1st floor they fave me a ternary wifi and was good to go.Now for some reason Verizin.. was a dead zone pretty much right there for my android galaxy phone my work iPhone was a little better but still not good service. A lot of bad Verizon set ice I the area especially going back and forth between 5g and 4g lte .... so there's that.

Literally THE BEST hotel we have ever stayed in! The staff are amazing especially with kids! Anything you need they take care of it! If you are in Carlsbad you have to stay here! Very clean. You wouldn’t even know that they allow pets. It doesn’t smell or anything! Close to everything in town. About 30 minutes from the caverns! Everything is great. If I could give more than 5 stars… I would!

I stay at hotels about 20-30 days a year. Had a wonderful stay at the candlewood suites. All of the staff I've interacted with are top notch. Staff: - The cleaning lady, which I ran into at the elevator held the door for us and was in a pleasant mood; makes me think she is treated well. At a lot of hotels I've stayed at the cleaning staff are not in the best of moods. - Staff at the front desk were great too, were always in a good mood, courteous and professional. Room: - No issues. Everything worked, no bugs, clean, modern, etc. - The bed was comfortable. It had 2 down pillows and 2 non-down pillows, which is perfect!- Only compliant I would have is the tub was slippery. Very happy with the stay. They even had free chocolate chip cookies at the front! If we every come back to Carlsbad, will be looking to stay here.

When I checked in for the I was greeted like family.The reception was warm and welcoming. The staff member that checked me in was very friendly and all smiles. She was very knowledgeable about my stay and about the amenities offered.Rooms: My room was clean and very spacious. The shower had just the right pressure for me and as hot as I like it.Nearby activities: Everything I needed was within a mile or less Food, fuel, restaurants and a store (DG) across the street.Food & drinks: The cupboard was full of food and drinks if I didn't want to leave they had it covered and the complimentary snacks are awesome.

This hotel is clean and the staff is nice the only complaint is the breakfast is basically non existent. For the price of the room a continental breakfast would be nice.

Absolutely love the candlewood hearing and Carlsbad New Mexico the problem is the internet you can't stay logged in and constantly kicks you out of it super annoying.
