Didn't realize Halloween became a major holiday they close at 7pm for Halloween the lder lady was so upset, didn't know and only came to buy turkey license, we walk in first thing she said we close in 5 minutes the signs on our door, very hateful, disappointing service to get from someone her age!

Getting my fishing license was really easy. A few clicks on a computer print it out and pay in less than 5 minutes. This after waiting at the Walmart sporting goods for a half hour. This was in Carlsbad.

Seems like a legit sporting goods store stuck in the 90’s. Apparel is decent, but very expensive, firearms and ammo are all priced at, or above MSRP. If it’s your only option, I guess it’s better than nothing though. I will admit the gun counter employee seemed very helpful and the customer service is very good, however that doesn’t justify their up charging. It’s totally cool, it’s a private business, and can sell at whatever price they want, but I can’t foresee them lasting another 10 years if they don’t become more competitive in today’s market.

Staff is friendly seems to have a fairly big variety of sports apparel and gear... the main reason for my visit was to find disc golf equipment. The selection is a bit on the smaller side but if you are just looking to replace a lost disc or find disc for a beginner this place will definitely do that for you.
