Allsup's Convenience Store is a friendly place to stop for simple needs. The store is usually clean and the staff are really friendly. It offers hot foods like its world famous burrito, plus cold and hot drinks, snacks, alcohol, diesel, an ATM, and restrooms. While labeled as open 24 hours, it often closes by midnight with a short staff sign, and is not open from after midnight until early morning. Most times they have what customers need. Some visitors report being overcharged, though the management is noted as being nice and doing their best. It is considered a nice gas station to grab simple stuff.
Came by road-tripping and friendliest ladies greeted us. Was recommended to try the food and I have eaten gas station food all over the southern map west to East and this did not disappoint as I learn more about the region. Thanks.

Still never got my money back from being overcharged. Manager is super nice and is always given her best. The store is clean everytime I go. However it is not open 24 hours I am not sure from when to when its closed though seems like after midnight to 5 am I think.

Lmao worked there for a few mouths then some money went missing on my shift so they sent me home until they figure out what happeneds, instead of being professional they left me out of work not knowing if I was fired or gonna be put back in. Got to love Carlsbad. Good pay tho fun to work there just watch out who you work... read full comment
