The campground features a mix of experiences. While the staff, including Debbie and Diane, are friendly and welcoming, the aging infrastructure has some issues. Electrical hookups may have problems, and the water main has experienced breaks. The Wi-Fi connectivity is also reported to be intermittent. Despite these challenges, the campground aims to provide a pleasant stay. The pool is described as very nice, and the showers and laundry facilities are always clean. The location is quiet, set a little distance from the highway. Overall, the Albuquerque North/Bernalillo KOA Journey offers a decent option for campers in the area, with management working to address any issues that arise. Visitors can enjoy the proximity to attractions like Balloon Fiesta Park, Santa Fe, and local casinos, as well as the on-site Kaktus Brewery for craft beer and pizza.
One of the best we’ve stayed with our 23 ft Airstream. Super friendly staff, beautiful grounds and short walk to brewery with great food.

Pleasant atmosphere inside KOA campground. There is a cute dog park. About a 7 minute drive off Interstate 25. Surrounding neighborhood reflects people struggling economically.
