I couldn't believe what I was told!Some back story: I'm retired and travel(ed) full time. I've had an account with my local bank for decades. They've provided absolutely fantastic service, but they're not a national business. I need something that will be where I am ... which can be anywhere!So, I sauntered into US Bank in Belen, NM ... the area I've landed in as a result of Covid and gasoline prices ... to set up an account ... you know, national bank and all that. Seemed like a good idea!There's absolutely NO ONE in the bank other than the three tellers, all three of which greeted me. I'm guessing it was a slow day?I say, "I'm here to open an account." I then get asked if I have an appointment. "Really?" I asked. "I need an appointment?" as I scanned around a still completely empty bank. "Yes. Would you like to make one?" I was asked. "Can I make one for right now?" seemed the obvious question. "No." Was the reply. Hmmm ....So, three tellers all anxious to serve me as I walked in, not another soul in the place ... and I get "no?" ...This level of service ... nonexistent ... seems ubiquitous these days. I guess I set my expectations too high. Think I'm going to look at TMobile banking ... they SEEM to actually WANT MY BUSINESS (4% interest paid TO ME!!! Holy cow!!!). I guess it's easy to figure I won't be back to the US Bank in Belen anytime soon. If anyone asks me if they should use US Bank ... well ... you do you. ✌️?

My experience is with US Bank on 620 W Reinken Ave, Belen NM. Very nice place with a positive team of ladies that are very knowledgeable and very efficient. The environment is extremely positive and overall a wonderful small town bank.

Horrible "customer service" you would think they are happy to even be working. Maybe after this pandemic, they will get replaced with helpful happy people, who appreciate working. Maybe an in service would help or a call to someone like the bosses boss. I myself am a blessed essential worker. Without customers you have no job. Remember that fact.

Bad experience racists people, Jaskle was very rude I will never go back to that place, my husband will take his money out. I will never make more business with that place.
