“Unique and interesting place. Rooms well equipped with very comfortable beds. Wide variety of breakfast options, even unstaffed. Absolutely gorgeous veranda, with plenty of room for relaxing and even having a cookout (grills provided!) This would be an excellent choice for a wedding party, or other group gathering. Decor is beautiful and almost like stepping back in time.”

“Other than the shower needing a longer curtain to keep water from spilling onto the floor, It's quite a great hotel to stay for a night or a few if you're traveling.”
“We were on our way south to Carlsbad Caverns NP, and after having shopped there for rooms, the Carlsbad locations were either booked or old looking sites that were “pet friendly”. La Quinta in Artesia had decent prices, excellent breakfast included and appears to be very new. We ended up renting two rooms and it was a nice quiet place to spend the night. Artesia is only about an hour from Carlsbad, and we’re very happy we stayed there.”

“Front desk personal was nice and generous. The room on the other hand could have been cleaned Alil bit better .The fridge was dirty inside. But altogether a pretty decent place to stay for an ok price.”

“Decent hotel. Nothing special. The staff was friendly and check in was a breeze. Price was maybe a tad expensive, but not absurd. The bed was very clean, but the floor was a little dirty, which is the main reason I knocked a star. The layout of the building is kind of strange. I would stay here again if I was passing through.”
