However, Walmart is a godforsaken place where the derelict of every town goes. The rude, the lost, the lonely: all of these and more all go to their local Walmart for something to do, that last minute item, or to cause problems.
This Walmart is the identical cookie cutter version as any other, the only theme to change is the crowd.
Walmart is a sad state of affairs, customers depressed as their options are limited to this obelisk of capitalism, the only option for many to be gainfully employed.
The similarities between customer and shopper are easily seen in their dead eyes and deepening depression as the management and owners make an obscene amount of money.
The employees making pennies on the dollar, the customers saving pennies on the dollar.
I abhor going here, I stand on the precipice of my principles, but I am betrayed by my own foibles when I find myself dead eyed, looking for that missing box of corn muffin mix for some disgusting slop of Americana I'm to make for dinner that night.
I wish there were a way out, but I can only acknowledge I am not a smart enough man to even begin to discover it.
