Why are the electric carts never working ?

I had an extremely unpleasant experience from two employees when I came to get cat food. I realized I also needed cat litter by the time I got to the cat food and I didn't want to have to go all the way back to the front to get a cart basket so I didn't mind holding the bag of cat litter walking to the shelf check out. I used the hand held scanner to scan the cat litter and I left it on the left side of the register while I paid. The scanner accidentally scanned the cat litter again after I paid as I picked it up to carry it out. As I'm walking out I'm nice enough to go out of my way and smile and say thank you to the two employees in the front and one of them who was a lady with a religious headdress right away said rudely I didn't pay for that cat litter and the other employee next to her just repeated what she was saying that I didn't pay for the cat litter. I let them know I did pay for it that the scanner accidentally rang it up again while I was picking it up. And instead of just asking to look at my receipt to see if I paid for it they both rudely said no you didn't pay for it it's still on the register and me me walk back to the register I was at while I'm still holding this big bag of cat litter and I just let them know a second time the scanner accidentally rang it up while I was picking it up. They just looked confused like they didn't believe me so I showed them my receipt and pointed to the part on it that showed the cat litter and explained a third time that the scanner accidentally rang the cat litter up while I was picking it up. I was already getting a little frustrated with them because of how rude and antagonizing they where being with me so I just said sorry for the confusion and just walked away after I showed them the receipt that I paid for the cat litter to keep it peaceful. And as I'm walking away their talking ish about me. And as I'm walking to my car outside I see the security running frantically from his car to the front as if he got called in because of someone walking out with stolen stuff. I know I didn't look my best in my sweats and white t-shirt and looked very tired from working a 12 hour work shift that day just trying to get cat food for my cat real quick around 10:30pm before I went to bed. They made me feel like I was being profiled because of the way I looked and being a hispanic male with some visible tattoos. Basically thinking I'm some stealing thug when in reality I'm a hard working individual who doesn't steal and doesn't need to steal and why would I be stealing a lousy bag of cheap cat litter? And what makes this all worse is I'm a regular who use to come here frequently for years! All the employees see me shopping here all the time and have to know by now I don't seal. I have no idea what these two employees' problems were with me. Could you please explain what I did wrong here?

Love that this Neighborhood Market it's never packed and it's always clean, easy to get in and out....the only thing I think they could do better is keeping better stock of the most common household items/groceries and produce.

Been going to Walmart all my life. Forgot a redbull in the bag when i checked out after paying for it. Went back the next day with receipt to see if i could get a replacement. No biggie I thought. Well they looked at me like a criminal and dismissed me becuase they didn't write it down. Think I will be going to tye target next door from now on. I am not a liar or a thief and will not be treated as such when i make a small mistake.

I've never had any issues with this store until recently. The manager staurt is incompetent at his job, and when requesting to speak to the store manager I was denied my request. I don't understand how this good customer service for any company. Awesome you can't speak to a store manager either which speaks volumes about this place.

This is the only worthwhile Walmart in abq … they always have stock and is usually pretty clean, the employees are kind and helpful. The only gripe is that the shopping carts are left outside so they’re not the cleanest , but other than that , like I’ve stayed this is the only neighborhood market I go to in abq.

Not a bad store, the goods are quite varied and good prices. But for some reason, every time, starting from 6 pm, there is not a single cashier at the cash register. Although, there are 4-5 people standing around the cash registers. They always have no idea what they are doing and mostly chat.
Last time, when I asked the question, why don’t you have cashier personnel, the girl said: we have a fairly small staff and a small store, so there is no one to work at the cash registers. But what are YOU doing there, five people standing and chatting? Unclear.

Wow, you have a lottery machine that excepts cash and doesn’t give change yet you won’t break change for a 20 customer service so someone can get smaller bills to play?

Employees always very helpful, and they always have someone getting carts from the parking lot for the lazy customers who refuse to return them.
