Not sure if Walgreen’s management pays attention to these reviews since they have overall been bad for quite a long time. I still have hope that commenting might make a difference & would like to support the businesses in my neighborhood. Don’t know what the problem is other than the explanation of, “we are short staffed”, but today after calling in about a needed antibiotic at 9am, I was assured by a staff member that it would be ready in a couple of hours. At 2:30pm I checked the prescription status on their automated phone system & got the information that it was ready for pickup. I went thru their drive thru & told the staff person that I was there to pick up a prescription, then sat and waited at least 15 minutes without any communication from pharmacy staff. I finally left the line & went inside to see what the problem was. When I talked to the pharmacy manager she told me that, “they couldn’t find my order & that they were not a fast food drive through”.
Wow, great way to make a bad impression. Is there any hope for this store?

Rudest Walgreens staff in the state of New Mexico. They refused to sell me a Google Play card. Said I can only pay with cash. I have previously purchased Google play cards there multiple times. I think they just told me that to get me to leave because they were crowded. The latina cashier has a major chip on her shoulder and did not want to give me two bags. I am going to file a lawsuit for discrimination. I always use a debit card there. They didn't want to sell me a Google play card. They didn't want to wait on me. Manager's won't answer the phone.

Don’t shop here. You will be stereotyped and discriminated, lied to, denied your medications, treated like scum and you will get kicked out for just browsing their merchandise. I shop here regularly, I spend $100’s of dollars here all the time, but the day I forgot my debit card at home they decided I’m a worthless scumbag and told me to leave the next day when I came back to get what I intended to. I needed my prescription too though, they said nope you can’t go to the pharmacy, try the drive through. Guess what? Drive through closed. I need my medication but they wouldn’t let me get it because I forgot my card the day before and browsed, how terrible. Wouldn’t even let me talk to the manager about it. I didn’t do anything wrong here to deserve to be treated so or I would not make a public post like this.
It’s AGAINST THE LAW to restrict access to and deny lawfully prescribed and medically necessary medication, especially if an institution receives federal aid in the form of Medicaid or Medicare payments.
Under Section 1557 of the Affordable Care Act (Section 1557), 42 U.S.C. § 18116, and its implementing regulation, 45 C.F.R. part 92, recipients of federal financial assistance prohibited from excluding an individual from participation in, denying them the benefits of, or otherwise subjecting them to discrimination on the basis of sex and disability, among other bases, in their health programs and activities.

I show up to pick up my prescription they tell me it’s 15 minutes to wait I wait in the parking lot and got in line for the drive through. I pull up to the window at 1:27pm and they did not give me my medication. Horrible overweight lazy staff at the pharmacy. Never using this pharmacy again.

This location has awful customer service lol I just called about an online order and the girl that picked up the phone told me ummm I don't know I'm a little busy let me check on it in a minute " so I waited patiently even though I thought that was a weird thing to say and then when she came back and asked me my name I had to tell her 3 different times and I literally spelled it out for her with the whole b as in boy a as in apple thing and she still couldn't get it ? so then she transfers me to a manager.and he said he would look for it so I said okay thank you and he said bye and hung up! They were super rude too especially the girl when I called back

Shame on Walgreens corporate for not improving conditions for pharmacy staff and all staff. I will be switching pharmacies to somewhere they treat staff better!

never opens on time. The posted store hours stay open at 7am M-Fri. Never happens! It would be good to follow the posted opening hours.

Pharmacy is always chaotic. I had an appointment for a flu shot. It's already been 45 minutes. The location at 4th and Griegos is so much better. I get in and out there in 10-15 minutes. Made an error and scheduled at the wrong location.

I went to multiple days in a row to pick up a prescription, they were out of stock, told me to come back next day so I did. Still out, told me to come back the next day so I did. I asked when it’s coming in and the girl said “if it didn’t come in, it didn’t come in” with an attitude. I’m sorry, I came 3 days in a row, no one offered any solutions, such as offering to call when it’s ready. And as I’m walking away the girl said “it’s only (prescription).” No, it’s my time, the lack of communication, the lack of care and concern, you would be upset too if you were told multiple times it will be here tomorrow.Updating my review from 1 star to 3 stars because I went to check on prescription, the person helping me this time was professional, took the time to explain what the delay is and offered solutions.

Personally this location is convenient; the issue lies with the staff. I typically arrive in the morning to pick up items before heading to work. Every time, no matter the cashier, the staff is always on their phones and don't acknowledge customers. I don't care to feel I'm bothering "you" at your place of work. Very unwelcoming. The Security personnel are kind.
