I purchased a new iphone from the verizon website to replace existing iphone on our account. I took the new iphone in on 5-16-24. I arrived soon after the store opened. There was not one person there who could activate the new phone. In fact, it was 3:30pm when this task was accomplished! Every store should have at least one tech trained to activate or troubleshoot problems another employee may have. I live in Oklahoma and did not have the time to spend an entire day activating a new phone for a family member who lives in Albuquerque and is unable to physically go to a verizon store. This simple task took 6 hrs!

I touched everything they had out on display. And they encouraged it.... Carefully. I made one alarm go off and they were ok with that too. I didn't get everything I needed but not because of the sales guy. He was great. But I was there because of the insurance. And he did what he was supposed to. And saved me money too.

Went to this location to help my parents who are in their 70s upgrade some older phones(2014) to some previously used versions I had given them the past year(from 2017). After 2hrs in store and the explanation from both an associate and the location manager they stated the phone we tried to activate on the Verizon service was not supported and would instead need new 3 year contracts and phones for both my parents $$$. We were charged 30.00 plus tax to do a data transfer from my mother's phone to the supposed non compliant phone with no refund given. Only a promised 70.00 credit to the account was offered after we returned to sign up for the new phones on new Verizon contracts. Went to bestbuy(westside) and an employee there was able to move the Verizon service over to the newer(old-2017) phone no problem, with no charge........ no data 30.00 charges and no need to purchase new phones(599.99 each) with new 3 year contracts. My parents have been with Verizon for 18+ years, I am now in the process of looking for a new service provider for them going forward. Way to go on loosing life customers Verizon at this store on san mateo ;) . Buyers beware!!!

I stayed on the phone on HOLD ( which I call FORGET) THEY never answered even answered!!! On call for at least 27 minutes!!

After my screen shorted out and I was completely locked out of my phone, I was ready to buy another to replace it as long as I could walk out the door with it. The staff here put me on the store phone with Asurion (I hadn't even realized the device was still insured) and I had a replacement in my hands six hours later for just the deductible, much less than I was prepared to spend. Above and beyond.

I had my new phone hacked while I was in this store site on 12/11/23 and numerous scam text messages were sent from this new phone before I even left the store. Do not shop this store!

I am writing my first review because I was so impressed with the service I received from Elijah. I know nothing about phones or technology, and he was incredibly patient. I had my new phone set up and bought several accessories. I asked many questions for clarification and Elijah explained everything thoroughly in a manner in which I can understand. I also added and changed items and Elijah was pleasant and accommodating throughout. I’ve been with Verizon for a long time and I’ve never had customer service this exemplary. Manager should also have feedback the same as the employees because I believe you should be acknowledged and awarded exemplary. Elijah was also very genuine, seems to care about the customer which is not happen a lot in the corporate world, was also very approachable and positive

After spending over half an hour sitting and waiting to simply turn in my old phone at another Verizon company store in Albuquerque, I came here. I was immediately greeted by a very friendly associate, who took my phone and came back in 30 seconds with my receipt. Perfect! The service at this location has always been exemplary—I’ll never go back to the other place.

I went to buy a SIM card in August and they charged me twice. Terrible customer service, since when I went to complain, they have no email contact and you can only call by phone.
