There are so many problems just to get your medication absolutely appalling! The Primary care providers do and have lied, and blame the patient. Been going there for over 25 years! and now it's been nothing but problems
Run around is absolutely ridiculous. I see this facility failing New Mexico residents.

Called in 4 days ahead. Pharmacy called three times to to say it was ready. To come pick it up. Not ready, when I got there. They Had to fill it.. Inefficient
Different day, same story. Pharmacist too busy laughing behind closed doors to take care of patients waiting for their scripts. Nothing is ever filled on time.

Despite recent cosmetic improvements (see also below about ♀'s restroom), UNM Outpatient Pharmacy at 1209 University has always been & continues to be mediocre or less (I've had to use the place for decades). Right hand rarely knows what left hand is doing. Counter service varies from merely competent to outright rude to astonishingly dumb. Phone staff are usually bored and in a ridiculous rush to NOT to be on the phone with you.The only thing that USED to work fairly smoothly was the MedMail service that you could sign up for & your scripts/refills would mail out to your address automatically once requested; but now they are sometimes, sometimes-not requiring advance copays for amounts less than $1.50 total (used to be you mailed payment for everything – and I've received 7 or more scripts at once this way – upon receipt). —But they never tell you when advance copay is needed when you request the meds; they won't even let you pay when you order them if you do it in person. Then they'll later claim to have left voicemails NEVER MADE requesting advance copay, when you finally call about your meds never showing up – easily documentable through phone records, but they straight-up lie to you anyway without a shred of hesitation. They just could NOT care less.Meanwhile they've done this huge facility facelift cutting down seating to almost nothing when it used to be inadequate to begin with. And 'improvement' includes, in the womens restroom, the ONE non-handicapp stall being rendered so narrow PLUS an absurdly oversized TP dispenser installed so it protrudes precisely into where you sit, there's less than 23" [inches] width for you to squeeze into sitting on the john, I kid you not (I carry a tape measure) —Pretty indicative of the level of genius applicable to the whole enterprise.

The worst place to pick up things, I have 45 minutes waiting for medicine for my daughter who is disabled and they have attended to two cars that arrived after me but for me there is only come and go!!! Discrimination in all its splendor apart from the fact that they never complete the medication they always give you only half and come back for the rest later!!!

Kim Juyung Is the worst doctor By Far. She is a Narcissist, and belittles people, she lacks compassion, and makes assumptions. She is not capable of communicating properly. She is not Helpful to say the least. I have been going to this clinic for going on 3 years and had amazing Doctors in the past. Furthermore I Never had any issues until now. My past doctor was always willing to help me and transfer any prescription over to a pharmacy that was in stock due to the pharmacy; conveniently by my house being out of stock.In addition in short she picked up my chart due too my doctor leaving. I recommend not wasting money and time if you are assigned too Kim Juyung. She dose not care about her patients. I been without one of my medications since October 1st. The Walgreens by my house was out of the medication I needed. Instead of calling me and having the courtesy to call me that she didn’t feel comfortable sending my medication to a different pharmacy in Albuquerque that was in stock. But had the time too write a message too the pharmacist that She denied my request, never attempted too also have her nurse call me or she call me her self too explain and clear up any confusion. I had to drive to the Walgreens in Albuquerque just to be told she sent a message stating it can only be refilled at the Walgreens by my house that is out of stock. And that dose not help me. That’s why I had to call Walgreens and have it redirected; so I could have picked up my prescription today. She is So unprofessional for her too have time to send a message too the pharmacy and denied my refill. That I needed 4 days ago. And never had The decency or consideration to give me a phone call. And keep in mind she just sent A prescription that was out of stock in Belen a week prior to her, denying me today. Which Contradict herself and shows discrimination. This unprofessional lady Must of forgot her Hippocratic oath and that she is suppose to advocate for her patients. I shouldn’t have to waste time calling Patient advocate to make a complaint. Along with a business bureau report. And having to look for a new Doctor. when I been established at this clinic for 3 years. But her demeanor and attitude is poor too say the least. I Never had issues with my past doctors. They were willing to help me out and transfer over my prescriptions if needed when my pharmacy by my house is out of stock Please save your self the time from dealing with the none sense. In my opinion, it doesn’t seem like she really likes her job and she honestly shouldn’t be in the medical field. If she’s not willing to help her patients, that’s her job. That’s what she is getting paid for.

I go to two Doctors at this clinic and they are both top notch. Well informed, thorough and compassionate.

I have been going here at 1209 clinic since I was 19 30 years later I am appalled the way the nurses and staff treat the patients most of them have been very rude and are confused about making appointments when I show up for an appointment and they tell me there is no appointment when in fact I have a paper printed saying there was an appointment and the way the nurses and staff treated me after that was absolutely appalling.

That's where my primary care doctor is I never been sick and years and years and years I come to New Mexico I've been sick for 27months Corona and pneumonia flu cold I don't know and 80lbs weight gain this place has been a nightmare!! but you and him was a real blessing the follow-up carrot takes a little hit but admitted in the hospital they were on top of everything they made me feel like you're supposed to feel in the hospital safe secure not alone I'm not alone all right I've been admitted to you and him three times and all three times they sent me home with COVID The first time lasted 19 months and have kept me locked up in Albuquerque where I don't want to be I came in for a 3-month project and I've been here for 27 months ill extremely ill and kept ill I hate this place

Been with these guys. For over 20 years. And it's once and a great while. There's any problems. In behalf of getting them. Unless they're overwhelmed with an in particular order. But normally they'll have them the following day.
