This store used to be a good place to get makeup but, it’s becoming unpleasant with the staff they have now they are pretty rude, they also treat you how you look, Ive noticed that when im not in my dressy attire they become rude. The make up is dirty, everything looks pretty messy by looking at the floors and makeup aisle they look ?, most of the staff here just likes to chitchat instead of working, I believe the only person actually working was this very nice older lady she looked like she was doing all the work the other younger employees weren’t doing.

The girl that was working the register today at 3:00 PM. She was on the left-hand side by the pick up. She had me waiting over 15 minutes. She would’ve just look at me and ignore me as she would take every other customer. Meanwhile, I just had to pick up. Sadly, this isn’t the first time she’s done this either. At the last time I was in there she would just completely ignore me. I had to go seek someone to help me because no one bothered to come and ask if I needed anything. There’s some people who have work Can’t afford to wait 15 minutes for a pick up that’s already ready Alta needs to step it up And learn how to be professional, and do their job

Had the same experience as most others with no customer service and a stalking security guard but I gave them grief for it and amused myself at the same time. The store was relatively empty, but no salesperson would help me and security followed me constantly. I needed help color matching a foundation, and security was the only employee around and he seemed fixated on what I was doing-so I walked up and asked him to color match me! He stammered and tried to walk away. “No. Wait! You’re the only employee showing me any interest, so can’t you help me pick makeup? I’m sure you’d be fabulous at it!” BTW-this is THE FASTEST way to get security here to leave you alone-challenge their masculinity.
Then it turned a little ugly. Some woman working there who had previously been standing around chatting overheard and headed over to scold me. lol! Her name was was Laura or Lauren and she said she was the manager. She proceeded to chew me out for approaching the security guard, and I reminded her that she and all her other employees had blatantly ignored me for 30 minutes so who else was I going to ask. I then told her that maybe she should spend more time on customers and less time on her social life or at least heed the warning when she overheard our exchange that customers are getting sick of being ignored while simultaneously being harassed by security. I left without buying anything and she huffed and puffed like a steam engine.

I believe the managers name was Leandra, she was very soft spoken, caring, and helpful. It's very rare now in days to find someone that the world hasn't corrupted to become ugly. I hope she continues to thrive.

I went to Ulta salon to get my hair changed up. When I went in I was a complete mess and had no idea what I wanted. Selena lujan Was so incredibly helpful she was aware of the military regulations on hair and was able to come up with a game plan that would work for me. But oh my god she blew my mind I have been getting my hair dyed for ten years now and I have never been this amazed with my results. Thank you Selena!!

Today was one of the worse experiences here at this location. As I had lost prevention follow me through the store. As I was checking out, the cashier was not very friendly. I had to request for a bag as she did not even put my items in a bag. Unfortunately this was the only location I was comfortable with in the area until today.

First, let me say Ulta is one of my favorite stores. Typically, Ulta employees are incredibly helpful and friendly.
This Ulta is an exception. Employees were all on their phones and went out of their way to avoid eye contact. Not one employee seemed interested in helping me find what I needed. And upon checking out cashier, Gabriella was fairly rude.
With other Ulta locations in ABQ to choose from, in the future, I'll be avoiding this location at all cost.I don't enjoy being treated like an inconvenience when I shop. I appreciate feeling welcome and appreciated, which I did not.

Two young women were at the front door handing out shopping bags. However, upon the arrival of minorities, the workers glanced at them disapprovingly and did not offer a shopping bag. Conversely, when a white person entered, they received one.

A sweet girl named Paige helped me and my grandmother find what we needed. She was awesome! i never felt like she was pushing me to buy something and she was so welcoming and friendly! 10/10

The people weren’t super helpful but there is a great selection of products. It was a busy day so I’m sure that is why. Got everything I came for (I only go about once a year) except a specific hair curler I wanted. I am a big fan of L’anza hair products and they had plenty in stock and cheaper than Amazon.

Leigh was outstanding! She knew her stuff inside and out. Best yet she was genuine and kind. I spent more than my husband would have liked but I'm set for skincare and make up for a long while. And when I go back I'll be asking for Leigh... you should too! ?

Got a call 2 hours before my appointment with "Savannah" - cancelling because she wouldn't have time. She mumbled something about the app double booking her, but earlier during the "consult" call she made references to not having time then - why wait hours later to cancel when I wouldn't be able to make other arrangements? But she was quick to ask if I would want to reschedule ... lol for what? This isn't how you gain or maintain clients. Maybe a blessing in disguise.
