Disgusting behavior! Me and my wife have never been in a True Value and we were searching for indoor plants. We walked into the True Value on Eubank and Spain on Sunday afternoon and were approached by a woman named Tisha. We were holding hands as a married couple. Tisha looked us up and down and made a face of disgust. We were upset by her but continued to browse through the store, we looked over our shoulder and noticed she was following closely behind us. She kept looking at us up and down and visibly looking at our pockets. We were angered by this and decided to leave, we made our way to the front door and she raced us to the door and looked us up and down basically checking our pockets as we walked out and said to her co-worker at the register “we’ll get ‘em next time guys!”Absolutely disgusting behavior! We came in dressed casual for a Sunday afternoon but still nice in appearance. We have never been treated so poorly ever in our lives!! I instantly called and spoke to the manager Tom, who was empathetic toward the situation and apologized for her bigot behavior and told us this has happened in the past to other gay people shopping that store. I am grossly disappointed in the fact that True Value would even employ such a monster. That woman should be fired. SHAME ON TRUE VALUE YOU WILL NEVER HAVE OUR BUSINESS AGAIN AND BEST BELIEVE THAT THE LGBT+ COMMUNITY WILL KNOW HOW DISGUSTING YOUR EMPLOYEES ARE!!!!

Never Again!! $34 for a small package of 2 sawzall blades!! Omg I thought this was a joke!! I was like Xuck this place I got the hell out of there as quik as I could! I would rather drive to Lowes or Home Depot!! Much cheaper prices!! I don't care how nice the staff was Thier prices are Redicoulious!! I was like where's all the customers?? Hm now I know! Probably at Lowes or Home Depot!! I know exactly who these fools are trying to target..omg what a horrible experience I'm so glad I'm gone from that dark place!!!

I am in the process of renovating a home near the Heights True Value and I am glad it's close by. From the first time I shopped there it became my go to store because of how helpful the people are plus many of the prices are lower than the big box stores. They have had what I wanted most of the time which is impressive as it's so much smaller than Lowes for example. There is always someone there to help me with plumbing, electrical, really anything question I might have, or the location of an item or just some guidance. Daniel is a great help there, he has been great working with me to find things and is very knowledgeable about most questions you might have. When do you get that at the big stores? It's hard to find anyone there when you need help. They are all good to work with. I highly recommend this place.

Always willing to help. The majority of the time they have at least one brand of whatever you’re looking for. Much more convenient than other stores. Military discounts! This really is my go-to hardware store.
