My granddaughter is learning so much at Takai Mine and everyone is helpful and courteous. Grandmaster Chavez is a woman of influence and she teaches the young ones to have respect, which I love. Very good place for children and adults.

Great school, awesome training program, masters are all respectful and helpful. School teaches many things from techniques to self discipline, respect, and professionalism. And the kids have a lot of fun as well.
Takai Mine Karate Inc. has been open since 1985, in Albuquerque, NM, and provides martial arts classes for ages three and up. Our school offers group (online and in-person) and private lessons. We teach four styles of martial arts: Tae Kwon Do, Derobio Escrima, Shoto Kan, and Shorin Ryu. Our program focuses on improving our students' lives one kick at a time. Martial Arts training can help relieve stress from our everyday lives. Our focus is to teach our students Courtesy, Honesty, Integrity, Perseverance, and Self-Control (CHIPS).
