Dr. Larsen is the best vet I've encountered in New Mexico so far. She is knowledgeable in her profession and truly cares for our pets. I'm glad that my cat Judah and my dog Nala have a caring doctor like her!

I booked my dog for boarding at St. Francis Animal Clinic. They told me to drop off my dog at 4:30 PM on the day his boarding started (today). I arrived with my dog at 4:25 PM, and the place was deserted. There were no cars in the parking lot, the door was locked, and no one was answering the phone. I left a message, called over and over, walked around the building to make sure there weren't staff elsewhere, and emailed the clinic. We waited to make sure the staff wasn't taking a brief break without putting a sign on the door, but no one ever arrived. I do not understand how they could have all left without contacting me given we had the boarding reservation in place. I had to scramble to find another place that could take my dog for boarding before we left town. I will not try to board my dog here again.
Edit: They called me on Thursday (2 days later) to apologize. They said there was no doctor in the office that afternoon, so the staff left early and forgot about my boarding appointment. They were very apologetic and polite on the phone. What that suggests to me, however, is that the animals being boarded are left alone a lot more than they should be, which just makes me more convinced this is not an appropriate boarding situation for my dog.
