Worst Smith's in ABQ. Mislabeled, disorganized, dirty, poorly stocked. I drive an extra ten miles round trip to avoid a store less than a mile from my home.

Tonight I went in to buy a few things to help with my meds. While finding everything in stock was a surprise. Because this store constantly has a problem with stocking daily. Today, I grabbed a few things, including some robitussion for my wife.. As I proceed to self check out. And scan the product, which actually needs approval from a smiths employee. There is no one to help. There is actually a guy in Lane one counting a register down named Brian who quickly help out in a gif... I nicely ask is there some available to help us. He shakes his head and states yeah somewhere over there!! And ignores me afterwards. I simply ask are you able to help?? He states nope that's not my area!! And continues to ignore me!! If you need help in this store.. Good luck. They obviously don't care about customer service!! And I guess the company forgot to teach this aspect of running a business.. Constantly, I run into p
oor customer service at either smiths or Albertsons which both are run by korger. Lack of management or care has been lost along with proper customer service

I didn't any all the discount for shopping their sale items, i had to get assistance from the the casheir cause the cokes were not price buy 2 get 3 free. That save me 30$ I still overpaid about 13$ This store always fail to update their system to update all the prices on their sale items so be careful they give you all the discount you thought you were getting .

I went there this evening with my 2 boys to do grocery shopping. Unfortunately I had no food stamps left and forgot my debit card at home. I came back 5 minutes after realizing I had the cash to cover it in the car. I waited in line again and let the young man who bagged up the groceries know that i was back. He immediately went to get my exact cart but Ann (who was dressed like a manager) was extremely rude! She made me feel more embarrassed than I already was! Try being a single mom of 2 young boys in this economy! She needs some more manager (or empathy) training. I'm paying my way..not stealing. Treat everyone with respect. It's called customer service for a reason. There also was a lady behind me who asked where and how to use the bathrooms. With an attitude Ann said "you open the door." I'm sure Ann is surprised I can spell properly with the way she talked to me!

Been shopping here for well over 15 years now, and I gotta say that the staff is friendly and will help you with any questions you have finding products. Check out is quick, and produce is fresh, among all the other store products. They don't have Mango habanero cheese, but other than that, they have everything else, even organic.

Wow. Horrendous customer service this evening with the pickup service. Smith’s, you have only one person working pickups?? And she’s not happy about it. How are you supposed to keep your promises? Your service claims I can place an order, and select a time slot to pick it up with one hour slots. So, if I select 5pm I should be able to pick up my groceries between 5 and 6 without any problems. If you, Smith’s that is, are running 2 hours behind because of poor staffing, then you should let your customers know. Your service is meant to be a convenience, not an inconvenience. So, when I told the short blonde woman, ‘tell your manager this is unacceptable.’ Well, she thought I was trying to start an argument, got mad, and said she’s gonna cancel my order. So I spoke to Keli, one of your managers, and she said it won’t be canceled. Well, another 20 minutes go by because the short blonde woman is making me wait for as long as possible by helping others before me. So I canceled the order with Keli. Your employees also should not be giving your customers dirty looks, no matter the situation. Anyways, your pickup service is atrocious and broken. Zero apologies for my order not being close to ready. That one star up there is a negative star.
3.9 stars. Anything under 4 is horrible. Perhaps your customer service needs to improve.

Ann, a manager, was drinking a soda and talking to another employee as the self check line kept lengthening. I asked her if she could assist self check and she said no, I'm working, and waited for a customer who wasn't waiting in self check. Her attitude was disappointing/ disgusting. Hope corporate can do better than her.

Went in to get a prescription, grabbed a few cosmetics, realized I should have grabbed a cart so I put everything that was in my hand in a small resuable shopping bag, planned on paying for it at the pharmacy. When I went to pick up my prescription I forgot about the bag because it was on the same arm as my purse. Walked outside and I hear "ma'am, ma'am, ma'am" I didn't turn around because I didn't think it was intended for me.
This guy walks up behind me doesn't identify himself, isn't wearing any type of uniform that I can see and GRABS MY BAG, car keys and all. I was hit so fast and so hard by his actions at that point I think I'm being robbed because he then says if I dont let go he's going to pull a knife and cut the handles, I see him reach for his belt and pull a knife out, I let go because I'm not dying for this situation. I see him heading back into the store and I realize in that moment what I had done. I chase after him into the store screaming for him to give me back my car keys, all the way to one of the checkouts I'm screaming. He makes a show of dumping all the merchandise onto the checkout, grabs my keys and throws them at me and says "don't ever come in my store again" I'm like, what just happened!!!????. I get to my car and I realize my wrist is injured from holding onto the bag so tightly for him not to run off with my car keys, I 100 percent thought he was robbing me.
Then this psycho has the nerve to start filming me, after HE pulls a knife on me, injures my wrist and takes off with my car keys.
Smith's, I'm going to tell you this right now, your asset protection person that was working yesterday March 7th 2024 pulled a knife on me for some cosmetics. He knows he can get away with it because at that point I had unknowingly become a thief.
I would have gotten to my car, realized what happened and immediately returned to the store to pay, I did this the last time I accidentally didn't pay for something and I'll do it the next time too.
While he was filming me as I left, I was so angry that I used my middle finger and some less than savory language to display my anger.
Whether you believe me or not that the theft was an accident, I don't care, you have it all on camera. I had just come from the urgent care, I had 103 degree fever, I was confused! I've never been arrested in my ENTIRE LIFE, I dont even have so much as a parking ticket, perfectly clean record, respectable person. I called a few lawyers yesterday, I can't afford the retainer right now, but trust me, I will find one who will take this on for free. I'm willing to take the "theft charges" as well, when the time comes.
I was advised my at least two lawyers to file a police report for assault with a deadly weapon, I would be more than willing to admit my transgressions in the process. Do I want to ruin his life? No. But believe me if you keep him employed someone will end up getting hurt, most likely him. He'll end up doing this to the wrong person and when it happens I hope you think back on this review and realize it could have been prevented but not hiring an aggressiveu unhinged thug who pulls knives on women.

Don't expect any returns to be quick. Had to return items over a few months time and they seem to only have one person capable of doing returns so if they are out, you have to wait.

I'm at this store all the time and I've always been happy with the selection and service, until tonight. I left empty handed after failing to find what I wanted, and their security guard started shouting as I walked away. "Don't come back boy! You think I didn't see that boy?! Lift up your shirt!" (For the record, I'm 46.) When I realized that I was the one being yelled at, I went back to address the issue, but he ducked inside and I didn't follow. A bizarre experience and an awful way to end the night.
