After weeks of trying to get the Covid vaccine in Santa Fe, I was treated like gold at this pharmacy. I called a couple times before driving down, and always spoke with a very pleasant young woman who was very helpful. They were ready for me when I arrived, had verified insurance, and took care of me right away. Truly a 5 star experience. Worth the drive!!

This Smith's is alright. I like it because there's generally not a whole lot of crazies that hang around and it feels safer than other stores in the area. There are two consistent problems though. The first is that their produce is almost never fresh. The second is a bigger problem in my opinion, and it's that they do NOT pull expired product off the shelves. I used to work at a grocery store, and sometimes half the job was pulling expired/ near expired product. After coming home to find I purchased expired food for a third time, I started checking everything I put in my cart. Yesterday, I was in a rush and grabbed a coffee drink, just to go home and see it expired in MAY. Huge safety issue. It's an alright place to shop, but check your food!!

They have NEVER miscounted my meds and have taken the time to ensure I understand what not to eat if a food can react to that particular medication. They always clarify how many hours between doses. They care for their patients. I have heard horror stories from other companies.

*Check your receipt.* THREE times in a row now I've been charged full price for something in their weekly ad. They are nice about giving you a refund but it's a process and who has time for that? A hassle for them, and me. And one time when I was overcharged $5 I didn't notice until I got home and I didn't have time to drive back, so I just ate my very expensive impulse buy cherries grumpily. Their produce section is nice and it's a big store... I'm not super impressed with the bakery because they don't seem to have any healthier bread options, but they have plenty of junkie ones! Haha. People who work there are nice. Self-checkout is always frustrating and I think a hassle for the people who work there, too. Seems like it could be a great store if the checkout systems/functionality/accuracy were different.

In the short span of 6 months this has become the worst store I have ever shopped at! I am now out $60 on food that was not given to me in an online order. Avoid this store and Kroger at all costs! Their customer service laughs off the $60 that was essentially stolen from me and tells me there's no word on my refund as of 2 weeks later. The shelves are constantly empty when multiple other smiths locations will have plenty of the same products in stock as well. Kroger not wanting to give their employees a raise and then continuing to decline is customer support is an embarrassment to the Kroger name.

This place treats you like a crook, and an unwanted customer! I was walking out of there and the armed security guard aggressively stopped me for a receipt, (just me everyone else just went by) since I couldn't produce it right away she accused me of stealing, took my items till she could verify that I had used the self checkout. (Talk about an embarrassing situation) Just today while I was there the cashier named Mike was referring to customers as fools to another associate in front of the checkout around customers. I have also bought expired food from here on several occasions, like they hope you won't notice! Check the dates if you shop here and try not to get shot by IPS security or harassed by Smith's employees you paying "fool". Or maybe go a mile up the road and shop else where until this place can uphold the standards they imply! I'm really tired of bad attitudes of employees, lazy stockers and rough security at this place. I would love for the management of Smith's on 4th st. to respond to this, it may show some kind of caring for customers.

Self-checkout is a nightmare. I long for the good ol' days when there was a friendly checker who know all the produce codes and could chat and scan at the same time. Nowadays, it's standing in line for a broken scanner and trying to get the attention of the one person supposedly covering 6 self-checkout stations as each scan errors out and requests administrative intervention. The payment station can't even manage to take my money on the first try. While there seem to be quite a few "pickers" gathering orders for online customers, far more than checkers, that doesn't help me trying collect my own groceries and check out efficiently. It was good after the last refurbishment a couple of years ago, but it's gone downhill. Seems like the more I do their job for them, the less I like it... hmmm... Maybe I'm not a good consumer. (Nah... I spend lots of money getting abused...) More service, less tech, please.

Wow! I placed an online order--only ordered what the website said was in stock. My order should have been around $60 plus delivery ($10); I got $8.00 worth of the products that I ordered...I ended up paying more for delivery than product. I WON'T be using this service again.
