The new bill payer is horrible. They rolled out a new bill payer that was not funcitonal, causing me to miss a payment, The new autopay is still not working after 2 months. In addition, the new Bill Payer interface is very awkward and non intuitive. Very unprofessional. I've been a member for over 20 years and I have not had reason to complain until now. I've complained to Board of Directors and have not recieved any aknowledgement of my concerns. In addition, the BOD are not reachable for discussion.

This company is straight trash. I have my auto loan through them unfortunately. Since I've had my Truck all I've delt with is rude ass customer serve reps and their crappy app. I definitely wouldn't recommend them to anyone if your serious about your money.

This credit union was good but the last couple of years they have been horrible with internet rates, service, loan approval, basically everything about a bank. Down to counting cash I was depositing. What bank don't have a bill counter. Same as Wells Fargo and Chase

Arrived at SLFCU to open an account and I was treated with total respect and dignity. Being a senior citizen I had plenty of questions and your employee Gael Garcia was very patient with me and answered all my questions appropriately and with a positive attitude. I mentioned to him that I had recently lost my son and he was very understanding and listened to me just vent. Not once did he try to rush me and he made sure to provide me with contact information so if I had any more questions on my account I can always reach out to someone from your credit union to talktoo. Gael went above and beyond and I will always recommend Sandia Laboratory as one of the best credit unions! Thank you Gael! Sincerely Rita Urban.

I have been a member of SLFCU for 40 years and their customer service has gone completely down hill. The bigger they get the worse they get. The Credit Card Services 3rd party vendor is TERRIBLE and SLFCU is almost as bad. Everything that made SLFCU great as a Sandia employee is gone! They are too big to care anymore. Customer Service is gone and all they care about if making money and getting new members who are not Sandia Lab folks. What was the best credit union has become just another big bank that does not care at all for it customers! Totally unacceptable. Even though they have my phone number, cell phone, email, secure online messaging etc they claim they could not get ahold of me to notify that my card had been shut off for a fraud alert. This is the 6th time this has happened and no matter how many time I call SLFCU all they do is say it's the 3rd party vendor fault and they don't even care. The change was not a fraud and there is suppose to be "a note in my file" so this doesn't happen again. Well, this is the 6th time my card has been shut off for a charge that was not FRAUD. They don't call and when you call them they don't care! They admit the process is flawed but refuse to fix it. What has happened to basic customer service? SLFCU what happened, you use to be a good bank, not you are absolutely terrible!!!

If bank here and ever get hacked you will be paying for it as they do not care and will not close account with NSF fees due to being hacked and you called the fraud department. They keep letting someone try and use account so more fees can occur. I guess this is how they get their revenue.

Place is ridiculous and gets worse every year; been banking with SLFCU for over 30 years and cannot wait to close my account with them.Drove up to withdraw from my own account and they wouldn't give me my funds despite having my ID and other required documentation.Seem to have a big problem with anyone wearing sunglasses or a hoodie (in their own vehicle even) at this branch as if that is what makes a criminal. Avoid this place for banking as it is unnecessarily stressful.

I am so outraged. I came here and they refused my business. Teller was rude about it. I am so glad I stopped banking here, go elsewhere; besides, their rates are abysmal to other comparable employee credit unions.Edit: went down the street and Chase bank was kind and courteous. Get a banker that cares, because SLFCU does not. They were also awful when I had to close my account years ago. They also have denied accounts to my friends who work at the labs. This is not a credit union that cares about its customer base.

Yesterday I took out a CD. I specifically asked for an appointment with Mimoza Mesiti. She had before assisted me with some bank business. I found her previously, as yesterday, to be a pleasure with which to work. She is a good listener, knowledgeable, smart, efficient, and has a positive and delightful disposition. Both times, I left the Credit Union , pleased with my decisions;much due to the confidence in the guidance Mimoza gave. She is indeed a PR factor for your institution. I referred her to a friend and she too had the same experience and became a member of the Credit Union.

I have been paying on my loan religiously every month for the past 3 almost 4 years now and I have never had a problem the people on the phone have always been real sweet and nice until today.

Alicia from loss prevention talks down to you and doesn’t care if you lost your hard earned money. She’s so disrespectful and doesn’t care about your situation. Her only job is to decide if she will give back your money or not and make up things why she she won’t give back your money.

Online banking takes 3 days to confirm external account while other credit unions don't take 3 days. when paying online it doesn't automatically say if I have paid my bill yet. online software needs to be updated

Customer service has really gone down hill! Spoke to a rude representative in Loss Mitigation Dept., Pam. So rude and not able to provide good customer service. They have treated us like criminals for being late on a card, which we have never done. In over our 30 years as members, we have never been treated so poorly. I can see why there are so many bad reviews for them. Put your money somewhere else. Not worth the headache!
