I got my first haircut with James almost two weeks ago. Not only is he a super nice guy, but he gave me a great cut that is lasting incredibly well. I will definitely be returning to James from now on.

Aly did it again! She is amazing! Gave me a great deal on a color and then went above and beyond my expectations. She showed me how to style my hair using the comb technique she used and gave me a lot of great advice for my type of hair. She even showed me what my natural curls can actually look like when done well! Thank you again, Aly, you deserve more and then some! I am definitely coming back!

Rockit Salon has been an important part of my life for over a decade. The new location radiates eclectic, eccentric, sort of Industrial meets Rockabilly meets Day of the Dead Vibes. There are cute upgrades that feel like big differences, such as rolling carts of snacks at each station, tools hanging from the ceiling, a new nail station, a stunning client restroom, badass neon signs, and sooo much more space, but that’s not the reason to go. Go to Rockit because of its owners, managers and staff. For their talent, for their professionalism, for their extensive knowledge, expertise and excitement surrounding their craft, and for their dedication to making you happy. I’ve had very long hair, I’ve had my natural color, I’ve had highlights, I’ve had fully dyed hair, and I’m Very Serious about all of it. I want to know everything about how they’re cutting, what products they’re using, what’s in the products they’re using, how they’re styling it, the best way for me to replicate that styling,
ect. I’m a lot, but my questions are always answered kindly, confidently, and respectfully,
as if the stylist has this huge cache of knowledge (which they do) and they can’t wait to tell me. I’ve never been made to feel as annoying as I am. I’ve had one stylist there move, and I’ve lost another to shocking tragedy, but I’ve always been placed in beautiful new hands and have never even considered finding someone new somewhere else.
The assistants deserve a special shout out! Chad does my nails, and he is such a beautiful, highly skilled individual, yet he indulges me in my simplicity. I am lucky enough to have Scarlett as my stylist. She is a conductor, executing a silent symphony at Rockit, floating around in a constantly changing rhythm of multiple clients and assistants at once, expertly timed and perfected so that I never feel neglected or unimportant. She goes above and beyond to solve all my hair and scalp issues in ways I would never even consider. I trust her so much I might even ask her to cut bangs one day. Jk, that’s crazy talk. Five stars all day and all night. ???

After having the same hairstylist for the last 15 years in Ohio, I really was afraid I wouldn’t find anybody that could take care of my hair after moving here to New Mexico a few months ago, but when I tell you, I hit the jackpot with Scarlett boy did I hit the jackpot, this woman worked miracles with my hair. She was extremely knowledgeable very friendly. Her staff was amazing and her salon was really cute and welcoming. I will never go anywhere else. If you get an appointment here you would be doing yourself a huge favor. no regrets. ?

I love this hair studio! They have friendly staff and atmosphere. I’ve seen Scarlett for both cut and color. She listens to her clients and gives great advice. I always leave the studio feeling refreshed and in love with my new hair. I couldn’t recommend them enough!

Taylor did AMAZING!!! Not only did she do an excellent job on my curly hair, she was by far one of the nicest hairstyles I've ever had. She did an excellent job at making sure I was comfortable and explained all the products she used. Highly recommend ♡♡♡

I have seen Scarlett for years for color and cut . She has my hair looking healthy and always does a great job . The new location is very cute . All the staff are super friendly . I love coming here . Pricing is great as well !

Scarlett is truly amazing at her craft; she’s like the fairy godmother of hair!! I recently went and was wanting to lighten my hair after I did box dye a few months back. Scarlett consulted with me about what I wanted and we immediately did a test strand. The test strand wasn’t exactly where I wanted it to be, but we talked through a few different options for what I could do. When it came to actually doing the balayage we were BEYOND surprised to see how much it was actually lightening and she told me we would be able to go much lighter than we were anticipating. A few hours of magic later and my hair came out so beautiful and even better than what I had originally wanted going into the appointment!! Besides Scarlett being amazing and efficient, all of the staff there are warm and welcoming and the atmosphere of the salon is so warm and inviting. I left feeling so amazing that day and haven’t stoped receiving compliments on my hair since then! Thank you all for the fantastic work that you do there!!

James has been cutting my hair since May of 2022. He always does an awesome job & I absolutely adore my mullet haircut. I love the new space at Rockit, it’s cute & cozy and I love the Aluram shampoo that I bought there.

The staff are really nice and leave everyone’s hair amazing. Scarlett is absolutely amazing she’s so sweet and always takes care of me. She cares about her customers leaving happy and I love her for that. She’s one of the most genuine people I know. You guys will love it here!!
