Tried making an appointment, and had to fill out the new client form online first. I was emailed and told they are "not taking on any new clients". There was not a reason given on the email which is unfortunate. So just wanted to give everyone an update in case you want to take your pet there anytime soon.

The only reason I'm leaving a 1 star review is because of the receptionist but the rest of the vet staff is actually very good so Thursday I tried to call about an appointment for end-of-life care for my poor dog and when the receptionist finally answered he seemed annoyed and and had an attitude when I asked about a appointment he said they were a week out and I said even for end of life care and with a attitude he said I could talk to a vet to see if they will get me in and when I said yes I would like to speak to a vet he just hung up on me so for that reason alone I'm giving a 1 stat

I am so glad I took a chance on this vet. They are so caring and kind. From puppy care to end of life care RGAH is the ONLY vet I trust with my pups. They're good about keeping the costs down as best they can and not spending every dime you have right out of the shoot. They love your pet just as much as you do. ❤️

We took my baby ,Samuel(Sam) to Rio Bravo Veterinary Hospital.
He was treated by Rachel Barnes D.V.M. and nurse Jeannie (I think that was her name) .
Sam had a ingrown paw nail. One of my concerns was I didn't want him to be in pain. I thought they would have to sedate him but they didnt, Sam trusted them both.
Dr Barnes even checked Sam and found a possible diagnosis and explained to me what the treatment would entail with a price estimate.
Because this was a emergency appointment I was worried about the prices luckily, the price was in
my budget.
This veterinarian Hospital is hands down the best I have ever been to. We found Sam a new veterinarian.
DR. BARNES and JEANIE, thank you for taking such good care of our Sam.

My Cat NEEDS To be Treated for Earmites . They turned us away there was a so called balance due They want $70 up front Before they can see my Baby I DON'T KNOW WHAT TO DO .Someone Made a Mistake and my baby Snow has to Suffer for They're Mix-up

I recently got my puppy vaccinated through the rio grande veterinarian clinic && the staff is so nice !! We also have a dog we had to take in recently because he had irritation in his eye && they were super nice and empathetic they really care about what they do at this clinic !!
