Andy really knows framing. He did a great job replacing the broken glass & straightening the frame in a large chalk drawing that is very special to me. And he did it quickly and was very reasonably priced. I highly recommend this shop.

I came in to get advice on a personal project. Andy helped me understand framing basics, materials to use, things to consider etc and could've easily said no we don't service custom framing.I came in multiple times and we talked well after closing. Andy even came in on his day off because I was in a last minute bind. Without his advice and assistance I would not have finished my project.I can only conclude Andy cares about the quality of the work not just in his shop but for others.

I had an important family heirloom that had separated from the frame. It was complicated because it is a old 3d piece. It had a complicated set of strings holding each part of the image in place. They did a superior job of resetting the frame! It looks beautiful and sturdy. It will continue to be passed down and enjoyed by family. I highly recommend them.

Love this establishment. From Andy Jr greeting us as we walked in the door to the final product. I would give 6 stars if possible. Andy took the time, and instead of upselling us on a frame and matting, he explained that my piece was a little chaotic and adding the matte border would not compliment well. In the end the artwork came out looking fantastic. Eagerly awaiting to see this item in a gallery! We will be returning for all of our framing needs.

Anytime I need something framed I come see Andy. I've had multiple pieces framed here and they are 100% top notch quality every time. Also love playing with his fur babies when I cone to drop off or pick up a piece. Andy is super professional and easy to work with. I will always come to Renaissance.

I had two antique prints my father got from the artist in the 1950s. The paper had oxidized and the mats were stained. I didn't even realize the glass was affected until Andy took them out of their frames. We did something unorthodox with matting and framing, I think he was skeptical about it but ended up humoring me. They turned out absolutely beautiful and I couldn't be happier. The prints look amazing and Andy's expertise was definitely appreciated. The cost to frame the 2 fairly large prints was so reasonable that I laughed out loud when he told me the price. I'm about to take him another group of prints and I'm looking forward to it. I saw a review that mentioned the barking dog and I wanted to address that. The dog does get excited and he does bark, but he calms down pretty quickly and gets quiet. It's certainly not enough of an issue to keep me from bringing lots more business to him.

I completely thought I could just buy a frame at target or something and put my print in by myself. I quickly found out that was not the case and my man here explained it all to me, walked through options for frames, and told me it’d probably be done after the holidays. Totally reasonable and that’s what I was expecting. Then he called me the same day saying it was ready to get picked up.Overall the service could not have been any better.(ALSO, I love the system he has in place that instead of a bell, he has an adorable dog named Andy that greets you as you walk in and barks to alert him you’re there.)Highly recommend.

I was in town for a couple of days and after driving to two other framing outlets, I was let down by the prices and turn-around time to get my photos framed. After speaking with Renaissance Fine Framing, I not only received a quote half the price of the others in Albuquerque, but I also received my framed photos 1 day later!The quality was amazing at Renaissance Framing and it really makes me wonder why all the other framing outlets charge so much.5 out of 5!

Purchased one of a kind print in Taos that we wanted to frame. In looking for a local framing shop, we came across Renaissance fine framing. We wanted to use a local business who would care for our piece of art as well as make recommendations for mats and frames. We had a great experience and will be definitely back. We are very happy with how our project turned out. Thanks for your recommendations on how to best enhance the art as well to as how to hang safely. Highly recommend this business. As an aside,They also do bike repair and since the local shop we have used in the past has closed, we also found a new bike shop.

Between the curt and unsympathetic customer service and the dog in the store barking loudly in my ear, I took my business to another frame shop, where I was considerately and pleasantly served.
