Needed blood work done and Silvie was an absolute Pro! She was kind and very empathetic to my current situation. I have never felt so comfortable! There were no issues and she was able to get me in and out in under 5 minutes!

I have had years of A+ service at the Sunport Quest Diagnostics Center, actually a much better experience than anything I ever did with Tri-Core .
Sunport Quest is trying to run full scale services with only ONE TECHNICIAN. Employee does get plenty of hours ($) with one lunch break. Should an emergency occur involving blood spewing out of a vein or heart attack, feinting, panic attack, loss of power, THERE IS NO ONE TO HELP this solo overworked technician who has worked this location for years.
On 3/20/24, I arrived while fasting all night, to have the ‘impossibly difficult chk in computer’ tell me a TWO HOUR WEIGHT TIME faced me. As I did not want to fast all over again for a return visit, I said YES to the appointment.THIS INFO was wrong by the way.
Current SOLO TECH is kind , empathetic, professional, and ALL ALONE. BOTH OPTUM AND QUEST NEED IMMEDIATE RESOLVE TO THIS LOCATION staffed by ONE. This A+ positive about her job, tech may soon be too beat to work at all let alone take a sick day.
—Incoming patients: if computer impersonally tells you a 2 hour wait, the currently because if the hard working conscientious ONE SOLO TECH may actually see you sooner. Computer says appts go first. How do you even make an appointment from Home, before arrival?
—This whole beautiful Optum Center is often completely devoid of patients in waiting areas. Even so, I have ways had good Quest service. Not this week. Rec going for now to a different location (wherever they are).

The person that attended me was a super caring human being. Before arriving to the lab, I had to deal with severe lower back pain and the depressive effects of my hypothyroidism. I got nothing but the utmost respect for the professional and kind treatment. I left the lab feeling joyful and spiritually uplifting.

Having a blood sample taken was quick, gentle and efficient. The staff was personable and competent. What more could one want, expect, or desire!

I am challenged with deep rolling veins. I am required to have blood draws every other month. I am comforted by knowing my draws are made the 1st time. Great work and thanks for making my experience a positive one. .

I came in for labs for a research study, they needed to be done at a specific time. The appointment scheduling & check in was super fast. There was no one else in the lab but the tech. I arrived 7 minutes before my appointment. It took her 9 minutes to acknowledge my presence. She looked at me holding the kit I brought in & LOUDLY told me she wasn't going to help me because she gets off in 15 minutes "I don't want to piss my boss off by staying even one minute late". She argued with me about what needed to be done for it without even really looking at it, about which shipper needed to be contacted. I mean, if I had been late I would understand, but she had almost 1/2 an hour to draw 3 tubes of blood & take my blood pressure. I realize how quickly this can and should be done because I'm a nurse. If I treated my ER patients like that I wouldn't have a job. The very least she could have done was taking the material and getting it set up for the next person. Now it's 20 minutes past my appointment, Still haven't seen the next person. 5 minutes left on the clock for draw time. But I can hear her stocking vacuum tubes, so obviously that's more important than customer service.

I am thoroughly impressed with having my labs done at this location. The tech knew her stuff!

Setting up the appointment was easy but told to check in via the text response you get with no information was annoying. Like every other Quest Diagnostics I've been to, its located in a multi-use medical facility with other companies. I sat in the main waiting area for 30 minutes before asking someone if I was in the right place and they informed me the Quest office was upstairs. Not a big deal but because I was "late" i had to reschedule my appointment. I was fortunate that they had an opening 30 minutes later but for something that could have taken 10 minutes, I wasted an hour of my work day.I think they should at least provide better details on checking in. The tech that saw me for the appointment was very nice and quick though!

I would give less than one star if it was available. This company still continues to send me your test results and will not update their system.

This is by far the worst experience I've ever had at a lab.It is difficult to set up an appointment, you CAN NOT speak with a human if you have a question, it is difficult to find and and when you arrive the check in is also on a computer only. The two women who were working there, (were not busy, and no other patients,) refused to say a word to me, and finally interrupted me and walked away! Genuinely the most unprofessional experience I've had. When I called the doctor's office who referred me they mentioned they have had several complaints and are going to switch back to Tri Core. Thank goodness!

First and foremost, I place half the blame on my primary care office for swaying me to get my blood drawn at quest over tricore by saying their lab fees are 75% less with my insurance plan BCBS PPO... I should have listen to my gut I've never had a high bill from tricore in my life, but I thought I would try them out. When I get there, the lab is very very empty, yet still running behind. The staff is extremely slow, and had an attitude with me when I told them that I literally just went pee and cannot go so I'd like to just have my blood drawn they then told me well, if that's the case, then go back in the waiting room, and we have to completely redo your order, making it sound like it was a huge process, but in all actuality it probably takes them a minute. I was fasting at this point for so long and my blood sugar was so low. I just said screw it and left. I will definitely not be going back here and the Lady couldn't even explain to me what the urine test was for she proceeded to tell me to look at my lab sheet and figure it out. I then read it out loud to her and said I have no idea what that is and she told me it's to test for infections. We are in the dead of summer and I feel perfectly fine with no symptoms of anything so I'm not sure why they ordered that in the first place. Again that falls on my PCP but their attitude on this whole process and inefficiencies is the reason I won't go back to Quest.

I'm choosing this looks cation because they don't list the one on Encantado, which I know exists. When you dial the number for the location, you get a somewhat unpleasant male voice recording that never gives you the option to talk to someone live. Unsatisfactory for that reason.

Had an active infection that needed treatment. Went to this location and gave samples for diagnosis and confirmation. Anxiously checked the app over and over for days with no update. Finally went for testing and treatment at public health, which did both diagnosis and treatment in under an hour at no charge.EIGHT DAYS LATER, Quest updated the app to let me know the the test wasn't completed because the sample had been lost.I guess it's a good thing I was only in excruciating pain, rather than dying. Thanks for LITERALLY nothing, Quest. Nothing other than delaying my treatment and extending my pain.
