Not cheap- but high quality stock that's well acclimated to our rough climate. Staff are knowledgeable and helpful at finding you a good fit for your yard.

Great place to get some local seeds for gardening.

The best place to buy plants. More expensive, but worth it for plant health, variety, and knowledgeable staff.

We really love this place, but we wish it was open on Sunday during the “high season” i.e. summer and fall. We work M-F and Sunday is frequently when we want to garden. Please consider being open on Sunday!

Plants of the Southwest is a Five Star business. It's my absolute favorite greenhouse in Albuquerque. The people that run it our very, very knowledgeable and very helpful.Today I bought a Cliffrose, which is a wonderful flowering shrub that is native to the Southwest, but very difficult to find. They carry only the best stock. On my next trip there I plan on picking up a Manzanita bush.

Great selection of plants that you know will survive our zone. Was offered assistance by an employee, which was appreciated!

Really noice, I got a sedum from here that is now thriving.I prefer to grow native plants, instead of ugly invasive plants.

Would be great if they would go back to having online seed ordering again. Some of us work long hours and cannot drive into Albuquerque or Santa Fe for seeds. This was always my go to place to order from for seeds that I could not get anywhere else.

I’ve been here a few times to purchase plants & supplies. The staff has always been very professional. Inventory is not as high as some nurseries, but everything is well suited to the local climate.About 3 weeks ago I was there, and Juana was especially helpful and patient in showing me about a dozen varieties of plants and explaining their light, water and soil needs. I will definitely return for future landscaping needs.

The best prices in town by a mile. So many good options for anything you want to grow outside in the tough NM climate. Only bummer is they aren't open on Sundays and close at 4pm.

They don't allow dogs. I love supporting small businesses and native plants but I drove across town to learn this gem of information. Oh and their parking is trash, good luck finding a spot!

Gave me the wrong information about native trees I bought one year and sold me a plant that was Not what it was labeled, and then refused to respond or reply to my calls and emails. Years ago this was a great place , now I will never return.

The website has been a great tool for purchasing native plant seeds. I’ll missing being able to order from their website, but to those who are local take advantage of their fantastic selection of native seeds!! This place has been the best seed resource for selecting hard to find native plants for the rocky mountain west and high desert.

I love how this nursery has drought tolerant plants and focuses on native plants. I think that more people should work on planting native and this would be the place to shop.
