First let me start by saying that we are usually at this place at least 1-3 times a week spending $50+ each time we visit. Today after spending $65 on fuel and various other things, we parked behind the smaller shop to figure out our plan for the day and wait on a friend who was bringing us money they owed us. We were there maybe 45 minutes to an hour waiting for the friend who never showed.
We were having our coffee and feeding and watering the dogs and eating a snack, minding our own business the dogs were napping and not bothering a single person not barking or anything. It was a little warm so I stuck my head out the window and poured a little water on my head to cool down.
Again we were doing absolutely nothing wrong and not bothering anyone. Then out of the blue, this rent a cop walks over to the car and asked us to go. Let me clarify that we have done this same thing almost every time we visit but this particular guard has been less than friendly to me in the past, Every time I go,she moves herself from her post, leaning on the end of the counter, and makes it a point to see exactly where we parked and what my dogs are doing. And standing there in front of the store, smoke in hand at a gas station, pacing back and forth, watching us til we leave.
Yes my dogs are loud and yes they bark at strangers that's what dogs do. But not once have they bothered or hurt anyone. They're curious and just want everyone to say hi or acknowledge them. In all the years we've been patronizing this location, no one has ever asked us to leave but today because they need to look professional for the balloon fiesta tourists, someone decided to finally act like they do this every day
TO ALL BALLOON FIESTA TOURISTS, they most certainly do not act like this every day, and I believe they made the decision to run off paying and frequent customers to make themselves look good for y'all! This particular guard is there most days, leaning on the end of the counter chit chatting with the girls behind the register, apparently with little else to do. She doesn't do much more and the only people I've ever even seen her move from her counter post for is us. But again it's not just this particular guard at that post, it's all of them, she's just the only one who has an issue with us. And yes my dogs are loud and yes my dogs bark at strangers but they don't hurt anyone they only want a scratch on the head or a hello and they usually stop. I guess this black curly haired "lady" has an issue with my dogs or maybe it's me, I really couldn't say. But today she had no right or reason to make us move at all especially when we were paying customers minding our own business with the dogs not bothering her or anyone. I could have seen it if we were doing something to disturb others or hurt anyone in any way but we literally were just sitting there.
And to all the balloon fiesta tourists who think this is business as usual, please think again. Businesses like this (security staff and that type of business) generally start "acting professional" and putting on airs to make out of towners think this is how they usually do business but rest assured as a life long resident this is genuinely not the case!! People in the security and temporary positions suddenly act like they care about customers and their well being but please know that this is a complete and total put on and I guess that's a good thing because most of you probably wouldn't be back if they were business as usual, I promise you that. They're usually short and dismissive with customers and act like it's a chore to give customers directions or show them where to find things. This particular guard's performance was Oscar worthy!!
We genuinely were doing nothing wrong!! So if anyone knows the particular security service I need to contact to report her, please let me know.
And fiesta goers be warned, they're even less friendly than

This is the worst reservation cigarette shop to go to you cannot compare prices because they won't give prices over the phone and don't even bother trying to get there after 945. Even tho the Internet says they close at 10pm they close at 10 till 10.

Love to save a boat load ? on my ?!The staff is always attentive. I appreciate being acknowledged when I enter a business, even more than that. I appreciate being thanked for choosing to shop with us. I get that every time I shop here!

Stopped here for gas and to use the restrooms. The restroom was super clean. It's only one. Lots of snacks and fully stocked!
