So, they get everything donated for free. They are charging 1000% markup on items. Their Facebook page has not been updated since 2014 but the owner is driving a nice vehicle. Where are the profits going? Someone needs to investigate as the owner seems to be scamming people.

I normally wouldn't go out of my way to review, but this place is so bad. First off, I am in agreement with all of the negative reviews - unjustifiable prices.
This was my last experience:
The man (owner) asked if I needed a receipt. After saying, "No i don't need one", he proceeded to charge me $5 over my total. I didn't realize this without a receipt and didn't see it until checking my bank statement.
Five bucks is five bucks, but after dealing with the 50% off gimmick eveytime and then a blatant, overcharged manual debit card entry?
This will be my final visit. Beware!!!!

Super friendly staff, real thrift store prices, a lot of items to select from, bigger than it looks from the outside

Based on the bad reviews regarding their "thrift" store prices, I will not waste gas and go there!

They are selling an RCA cable for $8.A serial cable is $14.A 4G Hotspot for a cell phone service that doesn't exist anymore costs $50.I found a cassette tape answering machine for $50. Found this exact same machine at Savers for $5.They have a piano there that's a few grand if you want to spend $3k on a piano at a thrift store. Also, an employee followed me around the entire time, pretending to check inventory. I guess he was afraid I would pocket a $14 serial cable from 1981 that costs $0.50 at Goodwill.Absolutely insane prices. Don't bother. I love thrifting and this store was a complete waste of time.

Walked in and walked right out. But not before clocking this price tag. Don’t waste your time. Their gimmick is 50% off of everything, everyday. But that doesn’t mean squat when you’re pricing toothpicks for $100.

This place is the best thrift store I’ve been to outside of savers in Albuquerque. Huge selection of tools, home goods, furniture. I got an easel for 20 dollars and they even helped pack my car full to the brim of furniture. Super kind workers, I am so thankful for everyone there! If I could give ten stars I would. ⭐️

Love the mission on the store but disappointing when I offer to buy 5 suits if you talk $5 off and say no because it is to much work to price and fold the clothes the particular suits have moth holes and need repairs they also have sat there for over a year. I thought the mission was to help the kids not worry about how hard it is to price and fold clothes disappointed wanted to spend $200 but instead bought one suit. God bless you and your mission

My son and I were unknowingly locked into this store an hr before the store closed. Because there is no public bathroom and I have a health condition we needed to quickly leave. After I was unable to purchase the items I had planned on purchasing due to their minimum purchase amount, I explained I was leaving to use the restroom and would be right back, I asked her to hold my items behind the counter. This seemed to infuriate the already rude and very unfriendly clerk but I said thank you and started to walk towards the door. She says she had to unlock the front door of this business which had multiple customers in it. I asked why the door was locked and she very gruffly said, "because we are closing soon" and shook her head with a look of disgust. I was just focused on leaving due to my health condition so I said ok and waited for her to unlock the door so my son and I could leave. She then proceeded to unlock the FRONT door for several minutes but was not able to get the lock open. I then was very concerned that my child and I had been imprisoned in this business without our knowledge and I also knew it was so dangerous that we would not have been able to exit had there been an emergency. As a person who suffers from severe PTSD, I was starting to panic knowing we could not get out. The clerk then angrily said, "I will just unlock the other one and very quickly turned and disappeared from my site in order to get to another door. I am disabled and walk with a limp and could not keep up with her fast pace. Finally I got to where she went to the other door (in the overcrowded) furniture department and was met with bookshelves blocking that door. There was very little room to maneuver through the shelves and wall and to find that entrance locked AND blocked just made everything worse. I am appalled by several things from my visit this afternoon. The clerks horrible attitude and customer service would've been easy to get past but I cannot believe we were all LOCKED IN a business with no knowledge an hr prior to closing and then to find the second entrance BLOCKED is unbelievable. Had there been a fire or a shooting or any other emergency, everyone in that store wouldve been at risk of being unable to get to safety. Not to mention, if there were a reason rescue personnel or law enforcement needed to access the building in an emergency, they would've also been unable to do so. I have always loved this store and the employees for years now but after today, I no longer feel safe going there. I felt trapped and completely disrespected by the clerk. I also feel that she locked those doors in an act of discrimination. My son has facial piercings and was wear a heavy metal band black t-shirt with black pants. I feel she targeted him as a thief based on his appearance. Everyone else in there were older adults. The door was not locked when we got there but suddenly 20 mins later it was. This all happened at 4:30pm. The store closes at 5:30pm according to their posted hrs. Business doors are to remain unlocked according to OSHA and the fire code. I hope for the safety of future customers Orphans follows the fire code laws. Thankfully no emergency happened today. I will take my business elsewhere to a place that follows the laws and safety codes. Hopefully the customer service is vastly better too. Shame on Orphans Exchange. This place used to be great.

I’m a frequent shopper at the store when I have extra money. I start a new job today and need a uniform. I went into the store to get 1 and kindly asked if I could have the scrub set until I got paid. I was told “ we can’t give stuff away”. Stuff that was given to you to help people in need. Like me this morning needing help with 1 uniform to start a job.
