We arrived at 4:30 were told room wasn't ready but would be in 5 minutes. Had a drink in the lounge and went to room about 5pm, still not ready, room was not ready until 6pm. Got to room and sat on the bed to almost hit the floor. We had waited so long we lifted the mattress and fixed the slats on the bed ourselves so we didn't have to continue to wait. Pulled back the sheets and there was a small burn mark right next to the pillow. Very obvious, not sure how housekeeping missed it. Carpets needed a good shampoo throughout hotel. The front area is gorgeous, and well done and the front desk staff was excellent and kind. The hotel has a lot of potential but fails miserably. Also when leaving the elevator kept stopping on level 2 on it's way up, but not on the way down. We ended up riding up with our luggage to go down after waiting twice. Each thing we encountered was a little thing, but there were a lot of little things that added up to make this a bad experience.

Never going to stay here AGAIN. Very dirty. Amenities in the room needed to be stocked up. So called bath Amenities were empty. No 24 hr front desk DOES not exist. Room is outdated. Carpet is very dirty. Resort fee is a frickin rip off. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone.

The Nativo is in a decent location. The front desk staff were very friendly and helpful. Hotel was a bit dirty and you can tell was run down at one point and things have been fixed up. Curtains were dirty carpets seemed pretty dirty. Seems the entire hotel needs a good cleaning. There are lots of hidden fees when it comes to checkout. Our 2 night rate in a king room was $150 a night we thought cool $300 for 2 nights no big deal. We got to checkout and our bill was $405 after all these hidden fees. Go to check our bank account and they charged an extra $50 on top of the $405. You have to pay an extra $20 each night for amenities something that you think should be included in your nightly stay. Do Better Nativo.Side note: the artwork in and around the hotel was something nice to look at. Lastly we didn’t even use any amenities around the hotel, yet we were still charged the $20 a night fee. Pretty ridiculous stay. Would not go back. Do not recommend.

I just want to say it is rare when you find a good hotel let alone one with good staff. I can definitely say this is one of the best places to stay in Albuquerque. And one of the employees particularly Nathan always goes above and beyond to make sure all your needs are taken care of!!! Thank you Nathan!!!

You can tell the hotel is run down, but they've done a very good job fixing it up. Little details still show if you notice that kind of thing. We went for the pool / hot tub and were not disappointed. Our kids LOVED the indoor / outdoor pool and the hot tub was nice. No breakfast served which is a pretty big downside for this place. Lobby was very nice and relaxing. The glass elevator was also enjoyable. Staff was perfect! Their texting system is amazing as I was able to send a message directly to them and get an almost immediate response! Whyyyyyy doesn't every hotel do that?! Price was a bit on the high side, especially with the extra $20 tacked on for stuff that obviously should be included and is by other hotels. Basically paying $20 per night for 1 can of soda (or local beer/cider) and unlimited water bottles. Towels were almost humorously rough to use. Total sand paper. Overall I'd still say it was worth it and we'd stay here again for sure.

This room was dirty and gross. The beds were on some box thing that stuck out around the edges like the bed was to small for it and there were pills on the floor. Then we were charged almost $22 extra for “incidentals” which they NEVER informed me of. I would not recommend staying here…EVER!!!

We had a broken pipe at our house and decided that since Nativo has such great location and is near our home, we stayed there. First the Parking was nice and accessible, the lobby was beautiful and Gardunos bar was alive. The check in process was smooth and staff were so friendly! We stayed in one of the artist room on the 5th floor, it had a gorgeous view of the Sandia Mountains, the beds, pillows, sheets were clean and very comfortable! The paintings made the room special just thinking about the time that was put into this piece of art. We ordered food from Gardunos and service and food was great!Nearby activities: Tons of restaurants and Starbucks waling distance

The hotel was pretty with nice decor. The rooms were a little dated though, but comfortable. My room was Mountain View, but had road noise. I was able to drown it out with sleep sounds. The front desk service was nice and friendly, but the housekeeping service was not good. I had to request service multiple times and the one time my room was serviced, the floor was not cleaned, the bed was not made, and the other necessities (tissues, body wash) were not replenished. Big BUYER BEWARE…they charge you a $20 per night “amenity fee” for fairly standard services (except one craft beer!). It’s in the fine print and not included in the nightly rate.

As others have stated, I traveled here for a work trip from 1/9/2024-1/12/2024. Upon arrival, one of my coworkers found a dead bed bug in her room. She put it in a napkin and tried to show the front desk staff, who took it from her and threw it away without looking at it or reporting it to upper management. He was very dismissive, stating, “The exterminators come every month”. Another coworker also found bed bugs in his room and decided to leave after being shown 3 rooms, all of which were unsuitable. We do have multiple photos. I asked for a room change and my 2nd room was in better condition, I did not find any bugs and have not had issues 2 weeks later. I ultimately stayed, only because the hotel refused to refund our rooms so that our group could stay elsewhere. The hotel is simply not clean. Very dark inside, oldddd furniture, hair clumps on the carpet, obviously not vacuumed, I heard that some showers and sinks did not have running water. The only real plus was how close it is to Starbucks. I was very excited to stay in a cultural hotel but will not stay here again.
